dc.description.abstractConventional B-mode and color Doppler ultrasonography are frequently used in the diagnosis of soft tissue tumors. In recent years, studies have focused on the efficacy of ultrasound elastography in the diagnosis of malignant soft tissue tumors and its contribution to conventional B-mode ultrasound. Strain and shear wave elastography techniques have been used to characterize soft tissue tumors and to differentiate benign tumors from malignant ones. In this chapter, ultrasound and elastography features of the malignant soft tissue tumors are summarized with emphasis on the current literature. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2023.
