iORDU VE ÇEVRES NDE YAYILI GÖSTERENMUSCARDINUS AVELLANARIUS TRAPEZIUS (MAMMALIA:RODENTIA)ALTTÜRÜNÜN MORFOLOJ K VE KARYOLOJ K ÖZELL KLER N NBEL RLENMESÖZETBu çalı mada, Ordu'nun Ulubey ilçesinin Yukarıkızılen Köyünden toplanan onMuscardinus avellanarius trapezius örne i üzerinde detaylı morfolojik ve karyolojikanalizler yapılmı tır. Morfolojik analizlerde; post özelliklerinin yanı sıra her bir örne inba iskeletinden alınan 17 iç özellik ölçüsü, be standart dı ölçüsü, baculum ve diözellikleri incelenmi tir. ç ve dı ölçü özelliklerinin istatistiksel analizlerinde SPSSprogramı kullanılmı tır. Karyolojik incelemeler; direkt boyama, G-bant, C-bant ve NORboyama teknikleri kullanılarak yapılmı tır. Bu uygulamalar sonucunda diploidkromozom sayısı 2n=46, NF=89, NFa=86 olarak tespit edilmi tir. Elde edilenmorfolojik ve karyolojik veriler, bu taksonun tip örne inin özellikleri ve bu alttürüzerinde çalı an ara tırıcıların verdikleri morfolojik ve karyolojik özellikler ile tek tekkar ıla tırılmı tır. Myoxidae familyası üyeleri için karakteristik olan, karyotiplerindekiçift kollu otozom kromozomlarından en az birinde görülen ikinci bo um (satellit),inceledi imiz tüm M. a. trapezius örneklerinde de gözlenmi tir. Uygulanan bantlamatekniklerinden C-bant ile sentromerlerin pozisyonu, G-bant ile türe özgü olanheterokromatin bölgelerin konumları belirlenmi tir. Ayrıca, bantların pozisyonlarınaba lı olarak idiyogram hazırlanmı tır. Türkiye' de yayılı gösteren bu alttür üzerinde ilkkez bu çalı ma ile G ve C bantlama teknikleri uygulanarak, bu alttürün taksonomisinekatkıda bulunulmaya çalı ılmı tır.Anahtar Kelimeler: Muscardinus avellanarius trapezius, Morfoloji, Karyoloji, Ordu.
iiTHE DETERMINATION OF MORPHOLOGICAL AND KARYOLOGICALCHARACTERISTICS OF MUSCARDINUS AVELLANARIUS TRAPEZIUS(MAMMALIA:RODENTIA) RANGING IN ORDU AND SURROUNDINGSABSTRACTIn this study, ten samples of Muscardinus avellanarius trapezius collected fromYukarıkızılen village in Ulubey town of Ordu, have been analyzed in detail fromkaryological and morphological point of views. In addition to skin specialities, 17measurements of internal characteristics which were taken from skull of each sample,five standard external measurements, baculum and tooth characteristics have beeninvested in morphological analyses. SPSS statistical program have been used instatistical analysises of internal and external measurements. Karyological examinationshave been performed by using direct staining, G-banding, C-banding and NOR stainingmethods. In the result of these investigations, it has been founded that diploidchromosome numbers were 2n=46, NF=89, NFa=86. Morphological and karyologicaldata have been compared in detail one by one with type sample features of this taxonand morphological and karyological features given by researchers who studied on thissubspecies. All of the examinated M. a. trapezius samples have been observed seconderconstriction which exist at least one of biarmed autosomes in their karyotypes andcharacteristic for member of Myoxidae with the C-banding from applicated bandingtechniques has been determined position of centromers and with the G-banding has beenindicated position of heterochromatin regions which specific for the species. Moreover idiogramhas been prepared depending on position of these bands. G and C banding techniques on thissubspecies ranging in Turkey have been applied first time in this study and tried to solve thetaxonomy of this subspecies.Key Words: Muscardinus avellanarius trapezius, Morphology, Karyology, Ordu.
