Ağız ve Diş Sağlığı Kliniği Çalışanlarının İş Güvenliğine İlişkin Algı Düzeylerinin İncelenmesi

Abstract

Amaç: Bu çalışmada ağız ve diş sağlığı kliniği çalışanlarının iş sağlığı ve güvenliği hususunda algılama düzeylerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Materyal-Metot: Araştırma Samsun il merkezinde bulunan Samsun Ağız ve Diş Sağlığı Hastanesi, Ondokuz Mayıs Üniversitesi Diş Hekimliği Fakültesi ve Samsun ili merkezinde bulunan özel ağız ve diş sağlığı polikliniklerinde yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada örneklem seçilmemiş ve tüm evrene (n=489) ulaşılması hedeflenmiştir. Cevaplanan anket sayısı 360'dır (%73,61). Ölçeğin Cronbach Alpha katsayısı 0,793'dür. İstatistiksel sonuçlarda p<0,05 değeri anlamlı olarak kabul edilmiştir. Bulgular: Çalışanların %64,7'si kadın, %61,9'u evli, %52,5'i <35 yaş grubunda, %34,4'ü lisans mezunudur, %45'i ağız ve diş sağlığı hastanesinde çalışmakta ve %51,9'u >4 yıl süredir ağız ve diş sağlığı kliniğinde çalışmaktadır. Çalışanların %42,5'i diş hekimi, %17'5'i uzman diş hekimi, %16,9'u ağız ve diş sağlığı teknikeri, %11,4'ü temizlik personeli, %7,8'i diş protez teknikeri, % 3,9'u da hemşiredir. Çalışanların %78,3'ü iş sağlığı ve güvenliği ile ilgili hizmet içi eğitim almış, %16,9'u daha önce bir iş kazası geçirmiştir. Çalıştığı işten memnuniyet oranı %73,9'dur. Sonuç: Araştırmaya dahil olan çalışanların çoğunluğu iş sağlığı ve güvenliği eğitimi almıştır. Çalışanların önemli bir oranı iş kazası geçirmemiştir. Bu durum iş sağlığı ve güvenliği eğitimlerinin ve uygulamalarının önemini bir kez daha ortaya koymaktadır. Çalışanların iş sağlığı ve güvenliğine verdikleri öneme çalışanların yaşı, eğitim durumu, görev yaptıkları kurum, çalışma pozisyonu, iş kazası geçirme durumu ve iş memnuniyeti anlamlı etkide bulunmaktadır.

Aim: The aim of this study was to determine the level of perception of occupational health and safety of oral and dental health clinic workers. Material and Method: The study was carried out in Samsun Oral and Dental Health Hospital, Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Dentistry and special oral and dental health clinics in Samsun. No sample was selected in the study so it was aimed to reach the whole field (n=489). Completed number of the questionnaires is 360 (%73,61). The Cronbach's alpha coefficient was found to be 0.793. Significance was evaluated at p<0.05 level in this research. Results: 64.7% of the employees were women, 61.9% were married, 52.5% were in the <35 age group, 34.4% were undergraduate, 45% had working in oral and dental health hospital, 51% had working in the oral and dental health clinic over 4 years. 42.5% of the employees were dentists, 17.5% were specialist dentists, 16.9% were dental and dental health technicians, 11.4% were cleaning staff, 7.8% were dental prosthesis technicians and 3.9% were nurses. 78.3% of the employees attended in-service training on occupational health and safety and 16.9% had an occupational accident before. Workplace satisfaction rate was 73.9%. Conclusion: The majority of the employees included in the study received occupational health and safety training. Also a high percentage of employees did not suffer from occupational accidents. This situation once again highlights the importance of occupational health and safety training and practices. The occupational safety perception levels of the employees is significantly different according to the age, the educational status, the institution, the working position, the occupational accident situation and the workplace satisfaction.
