BAZI EKMEKLİK BUĞDAY {Triticum aestivum L.) ÇEŞİTLERİNDE GENOTİP X ÇEVRE İNTERAKSİYONLARI VE ÇEŞİTLERİN STABİLİTELERİNİN BELİRLENMESİ ÜZERİNE BİR ARAŞTIRMA ÖZET Bu çalışma, ekmeklik buğdayda genotip x çevre interaksiyonlarını belirlemek, çalışmada yer alan çeşitlerin stabilitelerini araştırmak, farklı çevrelere gösterdikleri adaptasyon yeteneklerini belirlemek, değişik yöntemlerle stabilite parametrelerini hesaplamak ve parametreler arasındaki ilişkileri incelemek amacıyla, 2001 - 2002 yetiştirme döneminde beş (Gökhöyük, Merzifon, Kavak, Bafra ve Gelemen), 2002 - 2003 yetiştirme döneminde ise dört (Gökhöyük, Kavak, Bafra ve Gelemen) farklı çevrede yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada 12 değişik ekmeklik buğday genotipi (Kate A 1, Canik 2003, Mızrak 98, Sitap 01/3, Pehlivan, Özcan, Sakin, Bezostaja 1, Sitap 01/24, Karacabey 97, Bandırma 97 ve Özdemirbey 97) kullanılmıştır. Araştırma, tesadüf blokları deneme deseninde 4 tekrarlamak olarak yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada başaklanma süresi, bitki boyu, başak uzunluğu, başakta başakcık sayısı, başakta tane sayısı, metrekarede başak sayısı, hasat indeksi, tane verimi, bin tane ağırlığı, hektolitre ağırlığı, protein oranı, Zeleny sedimentasyon değeri, yaş gluten oranı ve unda kül oranı incelenmiştir. Çeşitlerin stabilitelerini belirlemek amacıyla, Finlay ve Wilkinson, Eberhart ve Russell, Perkins - Jinks, Baker, Wricke, Shukla, Francis ve Kannenberg ve Hühn tarafından önerilen stabilite ve adaptasyon parametreleri kullanılmıştır. İncelenen tüm özelliklerde genotip x çevre interaksiyonlan 0.01 düzeyinde önemli bulunmuştur. Çeşitlerin stabilite ve adaptasyon yetenekleri özelliklere göre farklılık göstermiştir. Çeşitlerin tane verimleri 202.00 - 921.25 kg/da arasında değişmiştir. Çevreler içinde ortalama olarak en yüksek tane verimi Bafra 2 (796.54 kg/da), en düşük tane verimi ise Gökhöyük 1 (271.67 kg/da) lokasyonundan elde edilmiştir. Tüm çevrelerin ortalaması olarak en yüksek tane verimi Özcan (553.03 kg/da), en düşük tane verimi ise Özdemirbey 97 (479.08 kg/da) çeşidinden elde edilmiştir. Tane verimi bakımından çalışmada kullanılan parametrelerin çoğuna göre, Kate A 1, Sitap 01/3 ve Sakin stabil genotipler olarak belirlenmiştir. İncelenen parametrelerden tane verimi ile S;2, bı ve B; arasında olumlu - önemli ilişkiler bulunmuştur, aı2 ile W;2 arasındaki rank korelasyonu l'e eşit olmuştur. Regresyonkatsayılarının (bı ve B\) S;2 ve DKj ile çok önemli rank korelasyonu gösterdiği tespit edilmiştir. Hühn'ün stabilite parametreleri olan Sj(1), S;(2) ve Sı(3) ile Wj2 arasında çok önemli - olumlu, Sj(I) ve Sj(2) ile S2d arasında ise önemli - olumlu korelasyonlar çıkmıştır. Ill AN INVESTIGATION ON DETERMINING GENOTYPE BY ENVIRONMENT INTERACTIONS AND STABILITY OF SOME BREAD WHEAT CULTUVARS (Triticum aestivum L.) ABSTRACT The objectives of this study were to estimate the effect of genotype x environment interactions and to investigate the stability characteristics and adaptation ability of some bread wheat genotypes tested across different locations by using several calculation methods of stability parameters and to study associations among these parameters. Twelve genotypes (Kate A 1, Canik 2003, Mızrak 98, Sitap 01/3, Pehlivan, Özcan, Sakin, Bezostaja 1, Sitap 01/24, Karacabey 97, Bandırma 97 ve Özdemirbey 97) were grown at five different locations in 2001 - 2002 and at four different locations in 2002 - 2003 growing season. This study was conducted in a completely randomised block design with four replications. The traits investigated in the study were: duration of heading, plant height, the number of spikes per square meter, spike length, the number of grains per spike, the number of spikes per square meter, harvest index, grain yield, 1000 kernel weight, hectoliter weight, protein content, Zeleny sedimentation values, gluten ratio and flour ash content. The performed calculation methods to measure stability of genotypes were Finlay and Wilkinson, Eberhart and Russell, Perkins and Jinks, Baker, Wricke, Shukla, Francis and Kannenberg and Hühn techniques. Genotype x environment interactions were significant at 1 % level of probability for all investigated traits. Cultivars had different adaptation and stability levels for different traits. Grain yield, varied from 2020.00 to 9210.25 kg per hectare. Bafra 2 location had the highest grain yield (7960.54 kg/ha) while Gökhöyük 1 location had the lowest grain yield (2710.67 kg/ha). While Özcan variety had the highest yield (5530.03 kg/ha), Özdemirbey 97 variety had the lowest grain yield (4790.08 kg/ha) for all environments. According to most of the parameters used in the peresent study, for grain yield Kate A 1, Sitap 01/3 and Sakin appeared to have a good level of general adaptation and stability to all environments. Mean grain yield was highly correlated with Si2, bi and Bj. o; and W; were perfectly rank correlated (r=1.00) with each other. The regression coefficients (bj and Bi) were highly associated with Si2 and DK statistics. The stabilityIV statistics Si(1), Si(2)and Si(3)of Hühn showed a good - positive rank correlation with Wi2 and Si(2) and Si(3) statistics also showed a good rank correlation with S2d.
