(E)-2-Acetyl-4-(Phenyldiazenyl) Phenol

Abstract

The molecule of the title compound, C<inf>14</inf>H<inf>12</inf>N <inf>2</inf>O<inf>2</inf>, is nearly planar and displays a trans configuration with respect to the N=N double bond, as found for other diazene derivatives. There is an intramolecular O-H⋯O hydrogen bond and the crystal packing is governed by π-π stacking. © 2006 International Union of Crystallography All rights reserved.
