| dc.description.abstract | Background: This study aimed to compare the resistance of T-Endo Mis and EdgeFile X7 files to cyclic fatigue at body temperature in artificial canals with 60˚ curvature. Material and Methods: This study included 10 T-Endo Mis (25.04) and 10 EdgeFile X7 (25.04) nickel-titanium files. All files were used in a ceramic artificial canal with a curvature angle of 60°, a radius of curvature of 5 mm, and a length of 19 mm at 37°C until fracture. The time until fracture and the length of the fractured fragment was recorded. Mann-Whitney U test was used for non-parametric data, and Student's t-test was used for parametric data. Results: Cyclic fatigue resistance of the EdgeFile X7 files was statistically significantly higher than that of T-Endo Mis files (p<0.05). There was no statistically significant difference in the length of the broken fragments between the two groups (p>0.05). Conclusion: In this study, the cyclic fatigue resistance of the EdgeFile X7 instruments was found to be higher than the T-Endo Mis. © 2023, Selcuk University. All rights reserved. | en_US |
