Abstract

Nutcracker syndrome (NCS) is a vascular compression disease involving the compression of the left renal vein between the superior mesentery artery (SMA) and the aorta. The case is presented of a 33-year-old female patient with a 10-year history of hypertension and abdominal pain in whom NCS was diagnosed. © Athens Medical Society.
