Çarşamba İlçe Merkezinde Şehir İçi Arazi Kullanımı

Abstract

ÖzetÇarşamba şehri, Türkiye'nin kuzeyinde, Karadeniz Bölgesi'ninOrta Karadeniz Bölümü'nde bulunmaktadır. Şehir Samsun ilmerkezine 36 km uzaklıktadır. Çarşamba şehri Çarşamba Ovası olarakadlandırılan delta düzlüğü üzerinde yer almaktadır. Şehir ve yakınçevresi Karadeniz'in iklim bölgesi içinde ılık kışları, çok sıcak olmayanyaz mevsimi, bütün yıla düzenli dağılmış bol yağışları ile nemli-ılımaniklim özelliği göstermektedir.14. yüzyıldan itibaren yörede Çarşamba günleri kurulan pazar,Çarşamba şehrinin çevresine göre önce ticari daha sonra hem ticarihem idari bir merkez olmasını sağlamıştır. Arazinin sazlık-bataklıkyapısına rağmen nüfus giderek artmıştır. Osmanlı Devleti'nin sondöneminde Kafkaslardan yapılan göçlerden yöre nüfusu daetkilenmiştir. 1927'de 6165 olan şehir nüfusu yetmiş üç yıllık süreiçerisinde yaklaşık sekiz kat artarak 2000'de 49189'a ulaşmıştır. Genç,dinamik bir nüfus yapısına sahip olan Çarşamba'da istihdam edilennüfusun %66'sı ?ticaret ve hizmetler?, %21'i ?sanayi?, %8'i ?inşaat?ve %3'ü ?tarım? sektöründe çalışmaktadır.Cumhuriyet döneminde idari özelliği öne çıkmaya başlayanÇarşamba'da bugün için ticaretin yanı sıra ulaşım, sağlık, eğitim gibihizmetler de önem kazanmıştır. Çarşamba günümüzde çevreyerleşmelerin ihtiyaçlarına cevap veren ?hizmet şehri? konumundadır.Kentsel alanın 1925 ha, konut yoğunluğunun 10,9 konut/ha,nüfus yoğunluğunun 25,5 kişi/ha olduğu şehirde, genel olarakmerkezden çevreye doğru gidildikçe konut ve nüfus yoğunluğuazalmaktadır.Çarşamba'da plansız şehirleşmeye bağlı olarak bir takımşehirleşme sorunları yaşanmaktadır. Bununla birlikte Çarşamba şehrisahip olduğu konum, tarımsal potansiyel, ulaşım avantajı ile gelişmepotansiyeline sahip bir şehirdir.AbstractThe town of Carsamba lies in the Blacksea Region in the MiddleBlacksea part in the north of Turkey.Its distance to the city centre ofSamsun is 36 kms. The town of Çarsamba lies on the delta plain namedÇarsamba Plain. The town and its near neighborhood have moist-temperate climate with its plenty of rains regular in a whole year. In theBlacksea climate region , it has warm winters, and not very hot summerseasons.The bazaar founded on Wendesdays until 14th century hasprovided that the town of Çarsamba becomes first commercial thenboth commercial and administrative centre in comparison with itssurroundings. The population has increased gradually in spite of theswamp-marshy land. The population of the neighbourhood has affectedfrom the migrations from Caucasia at the end period of the OttomanEmpire. The population of the town was 6165 in 1927. But in theseventy three years period, this population becomes 49189 increasingabout eight times more in 2000. In Çarsamba, which has a young,dynamic population structure, the employment population has workedin the sectors of `commerce and services? of sixty six per cent (% 66),`industrial? of twenty one per cent (%21), `building? of eight per cent(%8), and `agriculture? of three per cent (%3).In the period of Republic, Çarsamba was famous for itsadministrative features. For today, in Çarsamba, besides commerce,some services such as communication, health, education have gainedimportance. Nowadays Çarsamba is a `service town? that gives answersto the needs of the neighbourhood settlements.In the town, as the urban area is 1925 hectares, the density ofresidence is 10,9 house/hectares and the density of population is 25,5person/hectares, generally, the density of population and residence hasdecreased from centre to surroundings.In Çarsamba there has been some problems of urbanizationdepending on unplanned urbanization. However, the town of Çarsambais a city which has potential development with its position , agriculturalpotential and communication advantage.
