Süt İneklerinde Subklinik Mastitisin Süt Taurin Konsantrasyonu Üzerine Etkisinin Araştırılması

Abstract

Amaç: Taurinin subklinik mastitiste herhangi bir rolünün olup olmadığının belirlenmesi ve subklinik mastitisin laboratuvar doğrulamasında kullanılan somatik hücre sayısı ile taurin düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkinin ortaya konulmasıdır. Materyal ve Metot: Bu çalışmada, laktasyon periyodunda bulunan toplam 40 adet, 3-6 yaşlı, süt ineğinden alınan süt örnekleri kullanıldı. Subklinik mastitisin teşhisi, Kaliforniya Mastitis Test (CMT) ve sütte somatik hücre sayısının belirlenmesi ile gerçekleştirildi. CMT pozitif (+) ve SHS>300.000 olan 20 adet inek deneme grubunu, CMT negatif ve SHS<300.000/ml süt olan 20 adet inek ise kontrol grubunu oluşturdu. Süt serumlarında taurin konsantrasyonunun ölçülmesinde sığıra özgü taurin ELISA test kitleri kullanıldı. Bulgular: Süt serumu taurin konsantrasyonu kontrol grubunda 0,81±0,04 pg/ml, subklinik mastitis grubunda 0,72±0,02 pg/ml olarak bulundu. Bu sonuçlara göre kontrol ve subklinik mastitisli gruplar arasında taurin konsantrasyonunun önemli düzeyde farklı olduğu anlaşıldı (p<0,05). Sonuç: Bu çalışmadan elde edilen bulgular doğrultusunda, inek sütlerinde somatik hücre sayımı ile birlikte taurin ölçümlerinin de meme sağlığının izlenmesinde kullanılabileceği kanaatine varıldı. Aim: In this study, it was aimed to determine whether taurine had any role in subclinical mastitis and to reveal the relationship between taurine concentration and somatic cell counts used for laboratory confirmation of subclinical mastitis. Material and Method: A total of 40 milk samples that collected from dairy cows aged between 3-6 years in the lactation period were used in this study. California Mastitis Test (CMT) and somatic cell counts were determined in the diagnosis of subclinical mastitis. The trial group consisted of 20 milk specimens positive for CMT and SHS>300.000 of milk and control group consisted of 20 milk specimens negative for CMT and SHS <300.000 / ml of milk. Bovine-specific taurine ELISA test kits were used for measurement the concentration of taurine in the milk serum. Results: The milk serum taurine concentrations were determined to be 0.81 ± 0.04 pg /ml in the control group and 0.72 ± 0.02 pg/ml in the subclinical mastitis group. According to these results, taurine concentration was found to be significantly different between the control and subclinical mastitis groups (p<0.05). Conclusion: In accordance with the findings of this study, it was concluded that both somatic cell counts and the measurement of taurine in cow's milk could be used to monitoring of udder health.
