Abstract

There are many pathology related mandibular condyl. The preauricular, endaural, postauricular and submandibular incision are used for treatment of these pathology. Nine patients with condylar pathology have been treated by preauricular and submandibular incision between 1992-1995. During the follow up period (6-20 months) we have seen disfunction of the frontal branch of facial nerve in one patient and malocclusion in the other one. The functional and cosmetic results were excellent in the other patients.
