Yabancılara Türkçe Öğretiminde Kullanılan Yedi İklim Türkçe Öğretim Seti Üzerine Yapılan Bilimsel Çalışmaların İncelenmesi

Abstract

Türkçenin yabancı dil olarak öğretiminde kullanılan öğretim setlerinden biri olan Yedi İklim Türkçe öğretim seti, yurt içinde ve yurt dışında çok sayıda Türkçe öğretim merkezinde etkin olarak kullanılmaktadır. Yunus Emre Enstitüsü tarafından hazırlanan bu dil öğretim setinin, Türkçe öğretimi çerçevesinde çok sayıda bilimsel çalışmaya konu olduğu görülmektedir. Bu bilimsel çalışmalar, ilgili set aracılığıyla Türkçenin yabancı dil olarak öğretiminde mevcut olarak kullanılan setlerin daha nitelikli duruma getirilebilmesi için büyük önem arz etmekte ve bu alanda hazırlanılacak olan yeni setler için bir kılavuz görevi üstlenmektedir. Bu çalışma, Yedi İklim Türkçe öğretim setini konu alan altmış dört (64) adet makaleyi ve elli beş (55) adet lisansüstü tezi, meta-sentez yöntemiyle inceleyerek ulaşılan araştırma sonuçlarını ve önerilerini bütüncül bir biçimde değerlendirmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Araştırma sonucunda ulaşılan veriler, çalışma konularına göre sınıflandırılarak tablolar halinde sunulmuştur. Bu verilere göre Yedi İklim Türkçe öğretim setini çalışma konusu olarak seçen araştırmacıların en çok kültür aktarımı ve söz varlığı konuları üzerinde durdukları ve temel düzeydeki (A1, A2) kitaplarına yoğunlaştıkları tespit edilmiştir. Buna ek olarak öğretim setinde yer alan etkinliklerin nitelik bakımından yetersiz olması, etkinlik sayılarının temel dil becerilerine dağılımında bir denge gözetilmemesi ve etkinliklere ait yönergelerin eksik veya hatalı olması gibi sorunlar, araştırmacıların en çok üzerinde durdukları sorunların başında gelmektedir. Araştırma sonucunda elde edilen sonuçlardan yola çıkarak yabancı dil olarak Türkçe öğretimi alanında öğretim seti/ders kitabı hazırlayacaklara ve bu alanda çalışma yapacak araştırmacılara önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

Yedi Iklim Turkish teaching set, which is one of the teaching sets used in teaching Turkish as a foreign language, is used effectively in many Turkish teaching centers in Turkey and abroad. It is seen that this language teaching set prepared by Yunus Emre Institute has been the subject of many scientific studies within the framework of Turkish teaching. These scientific studies are of great importance in order to improve the quality of the sets used in teaching Turkish as a foreign language through the relevant set, and serve as a guide for the new sets to be prepared in this field. This study aims to evaluate in a holistic manner the research results and suggestions reached by examining sixty-four (64) articles and fifty-five (55) theses on the Yedi Iklim Turkish teaching set by meta-synthesis method. The data obtained as a result of the research were classified according to the study subjects and presented in tables. According to these data, it has been determined that the researchers who chose the Yedi Iklim Turkish teaching set as the subject of study mostly focused on the subjects of cultural transfer and vocabulary and concentrated on the basic level (A1, A2) books. In addition, problems such as the inadequate quality of the activities in the teaching set, the lack of a balance in the distribution of the number of activities to basic language skills, and the incomplete or incorrect instructions for the activities are among the problems that researchers focus on the most. Based on the results obtained as a result of the research, suggestions were made to those who will prepare a teaching set/textbook in the field of teaching Turkish as a foreign language and to researchers who will work in this field.
