Adli Bilimler Alanında Görev Alacak Öğrencilerin Alan Bilgisi ve Adli DNA Analizi Hakkındaki Bilgi Düzeylerinin Ölçülmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışma Samsun Ondokuz Mayıs Üniversitesinde öğrenim gören Tıp Fakültesi, Hukuk Fakültesi ve Sağlık Bilimleri Fakültesi Hemşirelik bölümü son sınıf öğrencilerine 20 sorudan oluşan anket şeklinde uygulanmıştır. Anketimiz Toplamda 76 Hukuk Fakültesi, 83 Hemşirelik Bölümü ve 131 Tıp Fakültesi öğrencisi olmak üzere 290 kişiye ulaşılarak uygulanmıştır. Yapılan anket çalışmasında öğrencilerin adli bilimler de DNA analizi hakkında bilgi düzeyleri ölçülmeye çalışılmıştır. Anket formunda öğrencilerden sadece sınıf ve fakülte bilgilerinin verilmesi istenmiştir. Anket formu veri kodlama yönergesi doğrultusunda kodlanarak bilgisayar ortamına aktarılmıştır. Veriler IBM SPSS V23 ile analiz edilmiştir. Fakültelere göre öğrenciler tarafından verilen cevapların karşılaştırılmasında ki kare testi kullanılmıştır. Analiz sonuçları frekans ve yüzde olarak sunulmuş olup; anlamlılık düzeyi p<0,05 olarak alınmıştır. Adli alanda görev alacak Tıp Fakültesi ve Hukuk Fakültesi öğrencileri eğitimleri süresince adli bilimler ile ilgili bir ders alırken Hemşirelik Bölümü öğrencileri herhangi bir ders almamaktadır. Araştırma sonuçları Tıp Fakültesi, Hukuk Fakültesi ve Hemşirelik Bölümü öğrencilerinin adli bilimler ile ilgili Bilgi düzeyleri arasında anlamlı farklılık olduğunu göstermiştir. Tüm Fakültelerin ders programlarına adli bilimleri içeren kapsamlı derslerin eklenmesi Adli alanda görev alacak öğrencilerin bilgi düzeyini artıracağı için önerilmektedir. Anahtar kelimeler; DNA analizi, Adli bilimler, Adli personelThis study was applied to the senior students of the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Law and Faculty of Health Sciences of Samsun Ondokuz Mayıs University as a questionnaire consisting of 20 questions. Our survey was implemented by reaching to a total of 290 students including 76 from the Faculty of Law, 83 from the Department of Nursing and 131 from the Faculty of Medicine. In the questionnaire, we tried to measure the level of knowledge about DNA analysis of forensic science students. As information students were only asked on their degree level and faculty. The questionnaire was coded and uploaded to the computer environment. The data was analyzed with IBM SPSS V23. For the comparison of answers given by students chi-square test was used.Analysis results were given as frequences and percentages, significance level is set to p<0,05. We students of the Faculty of Law and Faculty of Medicine who will be employed in the forensic sector attend classes on forensic sciences, the students from the Department of Nursing do not. The research results display that there is a significant contrast amongst the students of the Faculty of Law, Faculty of Medicine and the Department of Nursing on their knowledge levels of forensic sciences. It is suggested that more comprehensive courses on forensic sciences are added to all the faculties for students who will take charge as forensic personnel in the future since it will increase their knowledge level.
