Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretmenlerinin 6. Sınıf Sosyal Bilgiler Dersi Coğrafya Konularının Öğretilmesinde EBA'dan (Eğitim Bilişim Ağı) Yararlanma Düzeyleri ve Önerileri

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, Sosyal Bilgiler öğretmenlerinin 6. Sınıf Sosyal Bilgiler dersi Coğrafya konularının öğretiminde Eğitim Bilişim Ağı'ndan (EBA) yararlanma düzeylerinin ve kullanım amaçlarının belirlenmesidir. Çalışmada nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden anket tekniği kullanılmıştır. Araştırmaya 2017-2018 eğitim öğretim döneminde Samsun ili merkez ilçeleri olan İlkadım, Atakum, Canik ve Bafra ilçelerinde bulunan Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı'na bağlı 58 devlet ortaokulunda çalışan 152 Sosyal Bilgiler öğretmeni katılmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak araştırmacı tarafından uzman görüşleri alınarak anket geliştirilmiştir. Geliştirilen ankette EBA platformundan yararlanılarak 51 madde halinde araştırmanın amacı doğrultusunda oluşturulmuştur. Sosyal Bilgiler öğretmenlerine uygulanan anket üzerinden toplanılan veriler SPSS 25 İstatistik Paket Programıyla analiz edilerek frekans ve yüzdelik değerler olarak verilmiştir. Ayrıca belirli farklı değişkenler ile T-Testi ve Oneway-ANOVA testleri yapılmıştır. Değişken türüne göre farklılığın tespit edildiği analizlerde Tukey testi veri analiz sonuçları incelenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda Sosyal Bilgiler öğretmenlerinin EBA hakkında kısmen bilgilerinin olduğu görülmüştür. Ayrıca öğretmenlerin EBA'dan ara sıra yararlandıkları gözlemlenerek öğretmenlerden alınan görüşlerde EBA'nın faydalı ve kaynakça zengin olduğu ancak Sosyal Bilgiler ders saatinin EBA kullanımı için yetersiz olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bunların yanısıra ankete katılan öğretmenlerden alınan önerilerden EBA'nın geliştirilip zenginleştirilmesi gerektiği sonucuna varılmıştır.

The aim of this study is to determine the levels of social studies teachers' use of Education Information Network (EBA) in the teaching of Geography subjects in the 6th Grade Social Studies course. In this study, quantitative research methods are used. In this research, 152 social studies teachers from 58 public secondary schools participated in the research centers of Ilkadım, Atakum, Canik and Bafra, which are the central districts of Samsun province during the 2017-2018 education period. The questionnaire was developed by the researcher by taking expert opinions as the data collection tool. In the developed questionnaire 51 items in line with the purpose of the research were formed by using the EBA platform. Data collected from the questionnaire applied to Social Studies teachers were analyzed with SPSS 25 Statistical Package Program and were given as frequency and percentage values. T-Test and Oneway-ANOVA tests were conducted with different variables. Tukey test data analysis results were examined in the analyzes where the difference was determined according to the variable type. At the end of the research, it was seen that Social Studies teachers had some knowledge about EBA. In addition, it was found out that teachers used the EBA occasionally and that EBA was beneficial and had rich resources according to the opinions taken from teachers; however, the lesson time of social studies courses was found to be insufficient for EBA use. In addition to this, it was concluded that EBA should be developed and enriched from the suggestions received from the surveyed teachers.
