dc.description.abstractBetween June 1997 and May 1998, we surveyed the phytoplankton of Lake Akgöl, a shallow Turkish lake near the Black Sea. A total of 119 taxa, most of which belonged to the Chlorophyta and Bacillariophyta, was identified.
