3-Substituted Phthalides. XXXI. 3-(2-Bromoanilino)isobenzofuran-1(3H)-one

Abstract

The title compound, C14H10BrNO2, contains N - H⋯O, N - H⋯Br, C - H⋯O and C - H⋯Br hydrogen-bond inter-actions which generate S(5), R 4 4(27) and R 6 6(38) ring motifs. The phthalide unit is planar and is inclined to the benzene ring of the amino-phenyl group at an angle of 58.24 (18)°. © International Union of Crystallography 2007.
