Samsun Müzesi'ndeki Geç Osmanlı ve Erken Cumhuriyet Dönemi'ne Ait Ateşli ve Ateşsiz Silahlar

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Samsun Müzesi envanterine kayıtlı toplam 41 adet ateşli ve ateşsiz silahlar tanıtılıp değerlendirilecektir. Silahlar tarih sahnesinde yer aldıkları kronolojik sıralamaya göre ateşsiz ve ateşli silahlar olmak üzere iki ayrı katalog halinde düzenlenmiştir. Ateşsiz silahlar kataloğunda kılıç ve türevleri açısından kılıç, yatağan, kama ve hançer; ateşli silahlar ise ateşleme mekanizması gelişimine göre çakmaklı tüfek, kapsüllü tüfek; çakmaklı tabanca, kapsüllü tabanca olarak gruplandırılarak katalogda yer almaktadır. Ateşsiz silah kataloğunda 5 adet kılıç, 11 adet yatağan, 8 adet kama ve 2 adet hançer; ateşli silah kataloğunda ise 8 adet tüfek ve 7 adet tabanca incelenmiştir. Çalışmamızda yer alan eserler tür, yapım malzemesi, yapım tekniği, ölçüleri ve süsleme programları açısından ayrıntılı olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Çalışma fotoğraflar ve dijital çizimler ile desteklenmektedir. Çalışmada amaç haklarında bilimsel bir yayın ve inceleme yapılmamış olan bu eserleri bilim dünyasına sunmak ve Türk sanatı içerisindeki yerinin tespit edilmesine katkı sağlamaktır. Bu bağlamda müze depolarında yer alan ve bilim dünyasınca da bilinmeyen bu eserlerin tanıtılması büyük önem arz etmektedir.In this study, a total of 41 firearms and non-firearms registered in the Samsun Museum inventory will be introduced and evaluated. The weapons are organized in two separate catalogs as firearms and non-firearms according to the chronological order in which they took place in history. In the catalog of firearms, swords and their derivatives are classified as swords, yataghans, daggers and daggers; firearms are classified as flintlock rifles, capped rifles; flintlock pistols and capped pistols according to the development of their firing mechanisms and are included in the catalog. In the catalog of firearms, 5 swords, 11 yataghans, 8 daggers and 2 daggers were examined; in the catalog of firearms, 8 rifles and 7 pistols were examined. 9 of these artifacts registered in the Samsun Museum inventory are in the Bafra Archaeological and Ethnographic Museum warehouse, and a total of 32 artifacts in the Samsun Museum are preserved in the museum exhibition hall and warehouse. The works in our study are described in detail in terms of type, production material, production technique, dimensions and decoration programs. The study is supported by photographs and digital drawings.The aim of the study is to present these works, about which no scientific publication or study has been made, to the scientific world and to contribute to the determination of their place in Turkish art. In this context, it is of great importance to introduce these works, which are in museum storage and unknown to the scientific world.
