4,5-Bis(4-Methylphenyl-Sulfanyl)-Phthalonitrile

Abstract

The title compound, C<inf>22</inf>H<inf>16</inf>N<inf>2</inf>S<inf>2</inf>, has one and a half molecules in the asymmetric unit. Each molecule has a twist conformation and distorted C<inf>2v</inf> symmetry. The supramolecular structure of the title compound is defined by C-H⋯N, π-π stacking and C-H⋯π interactions. © 2004 International Union of Crystallography Printed in Great Britain - all rights reserved.
