Toplumsal Cinsiyet Bağlamında İslam'da Kadın Algısı

Abstract

Bu tezin amacı, kadına yönelik olumsuz tutum ve yaklaşımlara İslam'ın bakış açısını ve bu duruma muhtemel etkisini analiz etmektir. Bu temel amaç kapsamında 'toplumsal cinsiyet' bağlamında İslam'ın kadın algısı araştırılırken, geleneksel muhafazakar İslami algıya ait malumatlardan ayrıştırılmıştır. İslam dininde kadının konumu üstünlük, eşitlik ve adalet kavramlarından yola çıkarak tespit edilmiştir. Geçmişte ve günümüzde kadına karşı olumsuz algının bulunması ve kadını ikincil olarak konumlandırılması birçok etkenden kaynaklanmakla beraber bunların en önemlileri arasında yanlış dini algı (dinin yanlış yorumlanmasından yahut dini olmayan hususların 'din'miş gibi görülmesinden) kaynaklanmaktadır. Çalışmamızın sonucunda, yanlış ve olumsuz kadın algısının esasında İslam düşüncesi ile bağdaşmadığı, geleneksel İslami algıda insanların içinde bulundukları sosyokültürel durumun aslında İsrailiyat yahut uydurma rivayetlerden ve ataerkil düşünce yapısından etkilenilerek yanlış bir kadın imajı oluşturulduğu tespitine varılmıştır. Çalışmamız nitel bir çalışmadır ve kullandığımız yöntem genelde metin çözümlemiştir. Bununla beraber, içerik analizi ve eleştirel hermenötik yöntemlerden de yararlanılmıştır.

The aim of this thesis is to analyse the view of İslam and its possible effects on the negative status of the woman. Within the scope of this chief aim, the perception of the women in Islam is analysed in the context of 'gender' and seperated from the information about it in the conservative İslamic perspective. The status of the woman in Islam is determined based on the terms superiority, equality and justice. While the roots of the negative perception towards the woman in the past and today and her subordination can be found in many factors, one of the most important factor is the wrong religious perception (i.e. the wrong interpretation of the religion or the religionalising of what is not the religion itself.) In the conclusion of our research we came to the result that the wrong and negative perception towards the woman, what's contradictive to the Islamic soul, is not suitable with the İslamic thought and that the traditional İslamic perspective is influenced by the socio-cultural environment where the people are living in, by the Judaic and forged sources and by the patriarchal thought. This influence had led to the wrong and negative image of the women. This research is a qualitative research and the method that is generally used, is the descriptive method. Along with that, there has also been provided from methods of content analysis and critical hermeneutic.
