Vezirköprü'de Şehiriçi Arazi Kullanımı

Abstract

VI Özet Vezirköprü, Karadeniz Bölgesi'nin Orta Karadeniz Bölümü'nde Samsun iline bağlı bir ilçedir. Samsun şehir merkezine 115 km uzaklıkta olan yerleşme Samsun Ankara devlet karayoluna 31 km'lik bir arayol ile bağlanmaktadır. 1713 km2lik yüz ölçümü ile ilin en büyük ilçesidir. İlçe merkezi Vezirköprü Ovası üzerinde kurulmuştur. Etrafı tepelik ve dağlık alanlar ile çevrilidir. Şehrin içinden Uluçay ve Esenli Çayları geçmektedir. Nüfus ve ekonomik fonksiyonlarına göre yapılan sınıflandırmaya göre ilçe merkezi şehirsel özellikler göstermektedir. Bu çalışmada Vezirköprü ilçe merkezinin nüfus ve yerleşme özellikleri açıklanarak şehirsel karakteri ortaya konulmaya çalışılırken, yerleşmenin farklı fonksiyon alanları belirlenmiş bunun çerçevesinde şehir içi arazi kullanımı tespit edilmiştir. Şehirde iş ve ticaret alanlarının konumları ve fonksiyonları, konut alanlarının özellikleri açıklanmıştır. Şehirdeki idari ve resmi binalar, yeşil alanlar, tarımsal özellik gösteren alanlar ve sanayi alanları, fonksiyonel özellikleri ortaya konularak sunulmuştur. Şehrin ulaşım faaliyetleri ile ilgili açıklamalar yapılmıştır. Vezirköprü ilçe merkezinin şehirsel fonksiyonları ve şehir içi arazi kullanımı tespit edilirken, daha sağlıklı bir gelişimin olabilmesi için neler yapılması gerektiğine dikkat çekilmiş, bu tip şehirsel yerleşmelerin ülke ve bölge planlamalarında en verimli şekilde kullanılabilmesi için bir aracı olmaya çalışılmıştır.

VII Abstract Vezirköprü, within the territory of the Samsun province, is located in the Central part of the Black sea Region, it is 115 km from Samsun. It is 31 km from the Samsun- Ankara highway. It is the biggest town of Samsun with 1713 km2 land mass. The center of the town is located on Vezirköprü Valley. It is surrounded by the hills. Uluçay and Esenli rivers flow through the city. In terms of its population and economic functions, it can be regarded as a city. In this study we describe the characteristics of the city by explaining the population and the intensity of the activities taking place in the city. On the other hand, the proper use of the land in the city center was focused on by determining the different functional fields of settlement. The location and functions of the business and trading activities and features of the housing were explained. Administrative and state buildings, parks and the wood lands suitable for agricultural and industrial activities and their functional characteristics were described. Means of transportation in the city were explained. The characteristics of city and the functional use of the land were mentioned. Things which have to be considered have been explained for a well-planned urbanization. Our function here is to act as a mediator in order to provide an example in terms of using such kind of regional and urbanizational plannings the most effectively.
