dc.description.abstractIn this study, repeatability, intermediate precision, and recovery were considered within the Type A uncertainty budget, while measurement uncertainties due to the sampling system used (instrument), VOC mixture standard, internal standard, micropipette, temperature effect, methanol, and carbon disulfide were considered Type B uncertainties. As a result of the studies on the uncertainty components of the BTEX parameters belonging to the group of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), the highest uncertainty component for benzene was intermediate certainty at 24%. The highest uncertainty component for toluene was sampling at 23%. The highest uncertainty component for ethyl benzene was sampling at 25%. The highest uncertainty component for m,p-xylene and o-xylene was sampling at 25%. As a result, intermediate precision, sampling, and calibration uncertainties were identified as the most significant uncertainty components.en_US
