Abstract
Bu çalışmada, Labiatae familyasından olan bazı bitkilerin (Mentha spicata L., Origanum onites L., Lavandula angustifolia Mill., Melissa officinalis L.) ontogenetik ve diurnal varyabilitelerinin verim ve bazı kalite karakterlerine etkisi araştırılmıştır. Bu araştırma, 2002 ve 2003 yıllarında Köy Hizmetleri Araştırma Enstitüsü Bafra Deneme Istasyonu'nda yürütülmüştür. Faktör olarak üç farklı hasat dönemi ele alınmıştır. Bütün bitkilerde, dekara yeşil herba, drag herba, drag yaprak, drog çiçek (sadece lavanta bitkisinde) ve uçucu yağ verimleri, drog herba oranı, drog yaprak oranı, drog çiçek oranı ve uçucu yağ oranı incelenmiştir. Mentha spicata L.; Hasat dönemlerine göre en uzun bitki boyu her iki yılda % 50 çiçeklenme döneminde sırasıyla 58.70 cm, 87.37 cm olarak belirlenmiştir, incelenen özelliklerden yeşil herba verimi (2008.3 -6348.3 kg/da), drog herba verimi (638.0-2460.0 kg/da), drog yaprak oranı (% 37.95-47.95), drog yaprak verimi (227.6-1141.2 kg/da), uçucu yağ verimi (2.22-14.54 L/da), hasat dönemlerinden önemli ölçüde etkilenirken, hasat dönemlerinin drog herba oranı (% 28.48-39.01) üzerine önemli bir etkisi bulunmamıştır. Günün farklı saatlerinde yapılan biçimlerin uçucu yağ oranı üzerine etkisi çok önemli (p<0.01) bulunmuş, en yüksek uçucu yağ oranı öğle saatlerinde yapılan biçimlerde belirlenmiştir. Origanum onites L.; Farklı hasat dönemlerinin bitki boyu üzerindeki etkisi gözlenmiş, en uzun bitki boyu ilk yıl % 100 çiçeklenme döneminde (41.50 cm), ikinci yıl % 50 ve % 100 çiçeklenme dönemlerinde (42.07 ve 41.20 cm) ölçülmüştür. Hasat dönemi istatistiki olarak yeşil herba verimini (330.0-3027.7 kg/da), drog herba oranını (% 36.39-57.56), drog herba verimini (147.4-1734.9 kg/da), drog yaprak oranını (% 38.38-49.47), drog yaprak verimini (65.6-739.7 kg/da) ve uçucu yağ verimini (1.01-17.79 L/da) önemli düzeyde (p<0.05)11 etkilemiştir. Uçucu yağ oranı istatistik! olarak hasat dönemlerinden etkilenmemiş, fakat hasat saatleri önemli düzeyde etkilemiştir. Lavandula angustifolia Mili.; Denemenin her iki yılında, en yüksek bitki boyu % 100 çiçeklenme döneminde tespit edilirken, en düşük bitki boyu çiçeklenme başlangıcında belirlenmiştir. Yeşil herba verimi (816.7-3333.3 kg/da), drog herba oranı (% 33.78-53.58), drag herba verimi (292.8-1560.7 kg/da), drog çiçek oranı (% 43.40-64.87), drag çiçek verimi (127.1-1012.4 kg/da), uçucu yağ verimi (0.57-5.48 L/da) hasat dönemlerinden önemli (p<0.05) ölçüde etkilenmiştir. En yüksek uçucu yağ oranı akşam saatlerinde biçilen parsellerde ölçülmüştür. Melissa officinalis L.; Hasat dönemleri ilk yıl (2002), bitki boyu üzerinde etkili olurken, ikinci yıl belirgin bir etkisi görülmemiştir. Hasat dönemleri istatistiki olarak yeşil herba verimini (2691.7-2833.3 kg/da), drag herba oranı (% 27.94- 45.27), drog herba verimi (752.2-1110.8 kg/da), drag yaprak oranı (% 30.68- 45.23), drog yaprak verimi (317.9-448.8 kg/da), uçucu yağ verimi (0.79-2.24 L/da) üzerinde etkili olmuştur. Uçucu yağ oranı hasat dönemlerinden etkilenmemiş, hasat saatleri istatistiki olarak uçucu yağ oranını p<0.01 önemlilik düzeyinde etkilemiştir. Genel olarak denemenin birinci yılından sonra bitkilerin gelişmesi nedeniyle incelenen tüm verim kriterlerinde ikinci yılın değerleri önemli derecede artış göstermiştir.Anahtar Kelimeler: Mentha spicata L, Origanum Onites L., Lavandula angustifolia Mill., Melissa officinalis L., hasat dönemi.
In this study it has been researched the effect of ontogenetic and diurnal variabilities on yield and some quality characteristics of some Labiatae family plants which are (Mentha spicata L, Origanum onites L, Lavandula angustifolia Mill., Melissa officinalis L). The field trials were conducted at the Rural Services research Institute -Bafra in 2002 and 2003. Green herbage yield, drug herbage yield, drug leaf yield, drug flower yield (only lavender plant), volatile oil yield, drug herbage ratio, drug leaf ratio, drug flower ratio and volatile oil ratio in all plants were investigated. Mentha spicata L.; In terms of harvesting periods, the highest value of plant height was determined in the flowering of 50 percentage both 2002 and 2003, respectively 58.70 cm and 87.37 cm. Green herbage yields (2008.3- 6348.3 kg/da), drug herbage yields (638.0-2460.0 kg/da), drug leaf ratio (37.95- 47.95%), drug leaf yields (227.6-1141.2 kg/da), volatile oil yields (2.22-14.54 L/da) were significantly affected by the harvesting periods, on contrary, drug herbage ratio (28.48-39.01%) was not significantly effected. In other side, volatile oil ratio was significantly (p<0.01) affected by harvesting from different times of day. The highest volatile oil ratio was determined from harvesting at noon. Origanum onites L.; Different harvesting periods have affected plant height. The highest value of it was observed in full bloom (41.50 cm) in 2002, the flowering of 50 percantage and full bloom (42.07 and 41.20 cm)in 2003. The harvesting time statistically affected green herbage yields (330.0-3027.7 kg/da), drug herbage ratio (36.39-57.56%), drug herbage yields (147.4-1734.9 kg/da), drug leaf ratio (38.38-49.47%), drug leaf yields (65.6-739.7 kg/da), volatile oil yields (1.01-17.79 L/da). The harvesting periods is not significantly of volatile oilIV ratio, but the harvest time is effected. The highest volatile oil ratio was obtained from harvesting at the morning. Lavandula angustifolia Mill.; Both 2002 and 2003; in full bloom gave the highest plant height, while at the begining of flowering gave the lowest one. Green herbage yields (816.7-3333.3 kg/da), drug herbage ratio (33.78-53.85 %), drug herbage yields (292.8-1560.7 kg/da), drug flower ratio (43.40-64.87%), drug flower yields (127.1-1012.4 kg/da), volatile oil yields (0.57-5.48 L/da) were significantly (p<0.05) affected by the harvesting periods. The highest volatile oil ratio determined in plots of harvesting at evening time. Melissa officinalis L; Different harvesting periods have affected the plant height in the first year. In the second year had no affect on plant height. The harvesting periods statistically affected the green herbage yields (2691.7- 2833.3 kg/da), drug herbage ratio (27.94-45.27%), drug herbage yields (752.2- 1110.8 kg/da, drug leaf ratio (30.68-45.23%), drug leaf yields (317.9-448.8 kg/da), the volatile oil yields (0.79-2.24 l/da). The harvesting period is not effected the volatile oil ratio, but the harvesting time was significantly effected it. Generally, the growth of plants in this study increased after the first year of the trials, therfore all yields and yield parameters significantly higher in the second year of the trials compared to the first year.Key Words: Mentha spicata L, Origanum onites L, Lavandula angustifolia Mill., Melissa officinalis L, harvesting period.
