| dc.description.abstract | This study investigates the stability characteristics of porous orthotropic laminated cylindrical panels under the influence of linearly varying edge compression, employing the higher-order shear deformation theory. Four porosity distribution patterns along the laminate thickness are considered to model porous material properties. Theoretical formulations and numerical methods are utilized to evaluate critical buckling loads and mode shapes. The effects of parameters such as porosity, distribution patterns, orthotropy, radius-to-side ratio, aspect ratio, and side-to-thickness ratio on stability characteristics are examined. The research contributes to composite materials and structural stability analysis with potential aerospace, marine, and civil engineering applications. | en_US |
