Coğrafya Eğitiminde Alan Çalışmalarına Bir Örnek: Budaközü Çayı Havzasının Fiziki Coğrafyası

Abstract

Bu çalışma Coğrafya ve Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretmeni olacak adayların meslekhayatlarında konuları daha iyi ve kalıcı bir şekilde öğretimi için coğrafya alan ve eğitimbilgilerini bütünleştirmesi gerektiği düşüncesi ile yapılmıştır. Yapılan çalışmanınrehberliğinde farklı alanların coğrafi özelliklerini analiz edebilen öğretmen adaylarının, bubilgilerini öğretmenlik mesleği sürecinde öğrencilerine aktarmada daha başarılı olacaklarısöylenilebilir.Budaközü Çayı Havzası, Yukarı Kızılırmak ile Orta Karadeniz Bölümü içerisindedir.Yaklaşık 1590 km2'lik yüzölçüme sahiptir. Araştırma sahasının temelini Mesozoik'e aitkayaçlar oluşturur. Bunların üzerinde ise Eosen, Oligo-Miosen ve Neojen'e ait formasyonlarbulunur.Ana jeomorfolojik ünitelerini dağlar, vadiler ve Sungurlu-Boğazkale ovası oluşturur.Sahanın en yüksek noktası Kambeli Tepe (1930 m)'dir. En alçak noktası ise BudaközüÇayı'nın Delice Çayı'na katıldığı yerdir (520 m). nceleme alanında kışları soğuk ve yağışlı,yazları sıcak ve kurak bir iklim hüküm sürer. Saha genel hatlarıyla dandritik bir drenaj ağınasahiptir. Budaközü Çayı sahanın bütün sularını drene etmektedir. Sahada kahverengi topraklaren geniş yayılışa sahiptir. Araştırma sahasında, kuru ormanlar, ağaççık formasyonu,antropojen stepler ve akarsu boyu bitkileri olmak üzere dört farklı bitki topluluğu ortayaçıkmıştır. Erozyon, toprakların tuzluluğu ve sığ olması sahada önemli bir sorundur. Ayrıca,taşkınlar ve bitki örtüsünün tahrip edilmesi de önemli sorunlar arasındadır.

This study is carried out to teach the subjects beter and steadily for the Professionallife of geography and social sciences student teachers to complete their field and educationalknowledge. It can be easily sait that with the guidance of this study the teachers analysing thegeographic characteristics of different regions transfer this knowledge to their studentssuccessfully in their teaching life.The Budaközü River Basin is in the region between the Middle Black Sea and theupper Kızılırmak. It has an area approximately 1590 km/sq. The basis of the research areacontains the rocks belonging to Mesozoic. There have been formations belonging to Eocen,Oligo-Miocen and Neojen over thern. The fundemental units consist of mountains, valleysand Sungurlu-Boğazkale plain. The highest part of the area is Kambeli Hill (1630 m). Thelowest point is the place where Delice and Budaközü rivers coincide (520 m). In the researcharea, the climate is cold and wet in the winters and warm and dry in the summers. The areagenerally has a dandritic drenaj network. The Budaközü River empties all the water of thearea. In the research area, the brown soil is widely seen. There are four groups of plantassociations including dry forests, bush formation, antropogen steps and plants grown alongthe rivers in the area. Erosion, the salt level in the soil and shallowness cause great problemsin the area. Other problems seen in the area are floods and the destruction of the flora.
