Siber Flört İstismarının Çelişik Duygulu Cinsiyetçilik ve Yakın İlişkilerde Şiddete Yönelik Tutumlarla İlişkisi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada siber flört şiddeti uygulama, siber flört şiddetine maruz kalma durumlarının çelişik duygulu cinsiyetçi inançlar ve flört şiddetine yönelik tutumlarla ilişkisini incelemek amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini 18-30 yaş aralığında en az bir romantik ilişki deneyimi yaşamış ya da yaşamakta olan genç bireyler oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemini ise bu bireyler arasından kolay ve uygun örnekleme yöntemiyle seçilen 284'ü kadın ve 221'i erkek 505 genç birey oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma kapsamında yer alan katılımcıların bireysel özelliklerini belirlemek için 'Kişisel Bilgi Formu', çelişik duygulu cinsiyetçilik inançlarını belirlemek için 'Çelişik Duygulu Cinsiyetçilik Ölçeği, flört şiddetine yönelik tutumlarını belirlemek için 'Yakın İlişkilerde Şiddete Yönelik Tutumlar Ölçeği- Gözden Geçirilmiş Form', siber flört şiddeti uygulama ve siber flört şiddetine maruz kalma durumlarını belirlemek için 'Siber Flört İstismarı Ölçeği' kullanılmıştır. Ölçeklerden elde edilen veriler SPSS 25.0 paket programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma bulgularına göre; siber flört şiddeti uygulama ile siber flört şiddetine maruz kalma durumlarının çelişik duygulu cinsiyetçi inançlar ve flört şiddetine yönelik tutumlarla pozitif yönlü anlamlı ilişkisi olduğu saptanmıştır. Cinsiyet, yaş, eğitim düzeyi, ekonomik durum, yaşanılan yer demografik değişkenlerine göre; siber flört şiddeti uygulama ile siber flört şiddetine maruz kalma durumları, çelişik duygulu cinsiyetçi inançlar ve flört şiddetine yönelik tutumlarda belirli açılardan anlamlı farklılaşmalar tespit edilmiştir. Geleneksel flört şiddetine maruz kalma, geleneksel flört şiddeti uygulama, maruz kalınan şiddet türü, şiddete maruz kalma zamanı deneyimlerine göre, siber flört şiddeti uygulama ve maruz kalma durumlarının anlamlı bir şekilde farklılaştığı görülmüştür. Flört ilişkisi deneyimi süresi, mevcut ilişki durumu, deneyimlenen ilişki sayısına göre, siber flört şiddeti uygulama ve maruz kalma durumlarının anlamlı bir şekilde farklılaştığı saptanmıştır. Sosyal medya kullanım sıklığına göre, siber flört şiddeti uygulama ve maruz kalma durumlarının anlamlı bir şekilde farklılaştığı belirlenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda elde edilen bulgular, alanyazın dikkate alınarak tartışılmış ve birtakım öneriler sunulmuştur.In this study, it was aimed to examine the relationship of using cyber dating violence and exposure to cyber dating violence with ambivalent sexist beliefs and attitudes towards dating violence. The population of the research consisted of young individuals between the ages of 18-30 who have had or are experiencing at least one romantic relationship. The sample of the study, on the other hand, consisted of 505 young individuals, 284 of whom are women and 221 of whom are men, selected by easy and convenient sampling method. Married individuals were not included in the study. 'Personal Information Form' was used to determine the individual characteristics of the participants within the scope of the research, the 'Ambivalent Sexism Scale' was used to determine ambivalent sexism beliefs, 'Attitudes Towards Violence in Close Relationships Scale-Revised Form' was used to determine their attitudes towards dating violence, 'Cyber Dating Abuse Scale' was used to determine the cases of cyber dating violence and exposure to cyber dating violence. The data obtained from the scales were analyzed with the SPSS 25.0 package program. According to the research results; it was determined that the use of cyber dating violence and exposure to cyber dating violence have a positive and significant relationship with ambivalent sexist beliefs and attitudes towards dating violence. According to the demographic variables of gender, age, education level, economic status, place of residence; significant differences were determined in certain aspects in the use of cyber dating violence and exposure to cyber dating violence, ambivalent sexist beliefs and attitudes towards dating violence. It was observed that the cases of using and being exposed to cyber dating violence differed significantly according to the experiences of being exposed to traditional dating violence, using traditional dating violence, type of violence exposed, and time of exposure to violence. It was determined that the cases of cyber dating violence and exposure to violence differed significantly according to the duration of dating experience, current relationship status, and the number of relationships experienced. It was also determined that using cyber dating violence and exposure statuses differed significantly according to the frequency of social media use. The findings obtained as a result of the research were discussed considering the literature and some suggestions were presented.
