Tarihsel, Mitolojik ve Dini Bağlamda Kutsal Bir Mekân Olarak Kudüs

Abstract

Kudüs, ülkemizin ve dünyanın gündeminde yer alan önemli bir kutsal mekân olması itibariyle ele alınmış ve insanlar için ne anlam ifade ettiği bulunmak istenmiştir. Bunun anlaşılması amacıyla tarih içinde ortaya çıktığı dönemden günümüze kadar olan süreci göz önüne alınarak Yahudilikte, Hıristiyanlıkta ve İslam'daki yeri ve insanları nasıl etkilediği incelenmiştir. Bir mekânın kutsallıkla anılması onun kutsalın tecrübesinde aldığı rol nedeniyledir. Bu anlamda Kudüs kutsal mekân fenomeni inanan insanlar için bir merkez sunmakta ve düzeyler arası geçişin mümkün olduğu yere işaret etmektedir. Ayrıca şehrin birçok peygamberle ve çeşitli ibadetlerle bağlantısı kurulmaktadır. Kudüs, Yahudiler için Süleyman Mabedi'nin, Hıristiyanlar için Mesih'in hatıralarının bulunduğu yerin ve Müslümanlar için kıble ve miracın mekânıdır. Bu anlamları itibariyle üç dinin mensuplarının kendilerini tanımlamalarında ve gelecekle ilgili tasavvurlarında yer almakta ve insanları etkilemeye devam etmektedir. Jerusalem has been handled for its being a holy place which has taken part in our country's and the world's agenda and it has been wanted to find out what it means for people. In order to examine this its importance in Judaism, Christianity and Islam and how it effects people have been examined taking into consideration the period from the time it has appeared in history until today. The reason why a place is mentioned holiness is because of its role in the experience of the sanctuary. In this sense Jerusalem offers a center for people who believe in sacred place phenomenology and indicates where the transition between levels is possible. Also the city is linked to many prophets and various worships. Jerusalem is the place of Suleyman Temple for the Jews, the place where the memories of Christ are found for Cristians and the place of Qibla and Mirac for Muslims. Because of these meanings it has taken place in both members of three religions describing themselves and their ideas about future and it continues to affect people.
