Bafra ve Çevresindeki Halk İnançları ve Uygulamaları

Abstract

Bafra'da yaşanan halk inançlarını ve uygulamalarını konu alan bu çalışma, katılımlı gözlem ve mülakat yöntemleriyle elde edilen veriler ışığında; anlama, yorumlama, karşılaştırma ilkelerine bağlı kalınarak şekillendirilmiştir. Çalışmamız halk inançları üzerinedir. Bu nedenle geleneksel dini yaşam, popüler din, halk dindarlığı konularından zaman zaman bahsedilse de bu konular içerik olarak ele alınmayacaktır.Toplam üç bölümden oluşan bu çalışmada ilk önce araştırmanın teorik çerçevesini oluşturan halk inanışları kavramı üzerinde durulmuştur. İkinci bölümde incelemeye tabi tutulan yer hakkında genel bilgilere yer verilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümünde ise kozmopolit bir yapıya sahip olan, bir yandan geleneksel yapısını korurken diğer yandan ise değişimlere ayak uydurmaya çalışan Bafra'daki halkın dini yaşayışına halk inançlarının etkisi üzerinde durulmuştur. Sonuç bölümünde Bafra'da halkın dini yaşayışında halk inançlarının etkisinin olduğu, bu inançların ve popüler kültürün etkisiyle halk dindarlığının değişime uğrayarak varlığını koruduğu tespit edilmiştir.Anahtar Sözcükler: Halk İnançları, Halk Dindarlığı, Toplumsal Değişim, Gelenek, Halk Dini, Halk Kültürü.

This study is related to the subject of folk beliefs and its practices exist in Bafra. It usesthe data obtained by methods of joined observation and interviews. It was aproached tothe subject depending upon these data and in the light of the principles ofunderstanding, interpretation and comparison. Our study is based on the folk beliefs. Bythis reason despite the fact that the subjects of traditional religious life, popularreligiosity, folk reliousness was sometimes mentioned these subjects will not beexamined as a content.This study consists of three chapters. In the first chapter it includes the term of folkbeliefs building the theoretical framework of the research. Then in the second chaptergeneral information is given concerning the research environment. In the last chapter theeffects of folk beliefs to the religious life of people of Bafra which has a cosmopolitanstructure and trying to preserve its traditional structure and to adopt itself to new changesis examined.In the conclusion it is stated that folk beliefs has got effects in the religious life ofpeoples in Bafra and with the effects of these beliefs and popular culture folkreligiousness exposing to the changes preserves its existence.Key Words: Folk Beliefs, Folk Religiousness, Social Change, Tradition, Folk religion,Folk Culture.
