dc.description.abstractIn this work, both unscented transform (UT) and frequency analysis techniques are used for calculating potential wind power of OMU - Dedebuzagi hill based on a year wind data. UT technique reduces process time since it uses only a few samples of probability density function of random variables into system. Weibull distribution with three parameters is used for predicting wind power. The wind power values for measurement site are then compared to another proposed method called frequency analysis. © 2012 IEEE.en_US
