Abstract
Çocuğu sevmek demek onun haklarına saygı göstermek demektir. Çocuğu ciddiye aldığımız zaman onun psikososyal gelişimlerini de tesadüfe bırakmamış oluruz. Bu nedenle çocuk ileri ki yılların da korkak, çekingen, içine kapalı olmak yerine, girişken, düşünebilen, düşündüğünü aktarabilen, cesaretli, sağlam kişilikli sevgi dolu çocuklar olarak yetişecektir. Tez 12 - 16 yaş grubundaki çocukları bedensel, duygusal, zihinsel gelişimleri içermektedir. Teorik ve uygulamalı olmak üzere iki bölümden oluşmaktadır. Teorik bölümde çocuklann bedensel ve fiziksel gelişimi araştınSmış ve ortaya konulmuştur. Uygulamalı bölümde ise çocuklar ile yapılan anket çalışması ve çocuklara yönelik kitaplarla ilgili araştırmalar yapılmıştır. Çocuğun duygu ve düşünceleri esas alınarak, yeterli ilgi, sevgi ve güven ortamında büyümelerinin önemi ortaya konulmuştur. Bir birey olarak çocuğun, toplumun diğer üyeleri arasındaki önemi esas olarak ebeveynlerden beklentileri ortaya konulmuştur. Yaptıkları resimler incelenerek çocuğun resim ile olan yakınlığı anlatılmak istenmiştir. Çocuk, zihinsel,bedensel,duygusal ve sosyal gereksinimlerini tamamlamak isteyen bir kişidir. Bu nedenle çocuğa gösterilen sevgi, şefkat ve güven duygusu çocuğu olumlu yönde etkileyecektir. Onlara sunacağımız, gereksinmelerini karşılayacağımız her olumlu davranışın, sonucu en iyi şekilde almamızdaki önemine bağlı kalarak, illüstrasyonun çocuk kitaplarındaki önemi ve özelliklerinin neler olacağı belirtilmeye çalışılmıştır. Birinci Bölüm' de, Çocuk Gelişimi,önemi, çocukların karakterleri ile birlikte yaptıkları resimler ele alınmış, ilkokul dönemi ile okul öncesi dönem kıyaslanarak çocuğun geçirdiği evreler anlatılmıştır. İkinci Bölüm'de çocuğun yaratıcı eylem içerisinde bulunması, yaptığı resimlerde gösterdiği tipler, genel özellikleri anlatılarak resmin çocuğun yaşamındaki önemi vurgulanmıştır. IIÜçüncü Bölümde çocuk kitapları ve özelliklerine değinilerek kitabın,herkesin yaşamında değerli olduğu gibi çocuğun yaşamında da etkili olduğu, içiriğinin biçimi ve kahramanlarıyla önemi anlatılmıştır. Öykü kitaplanndaki görsel göstergelerin, illüstrasyon, renk, yazı ve grafik tasarımlarıyla bir bütün olduğu verilmeye çalışmıştır. Dördüncü Bölümde illüstrasyonun önemi ve Türkiye'de geçirdiği evreler anlatılarak, hikayelerde ve bütün kitaplarda,afişlerde önemli olduğu anlatılmıştır. Beşinci Bölüm tezin uygulamalı bölümü olmuştur ki, burada çocuklara yönelik yapılan anketler,önemi ve sonuçlan yer alır.Kitabm,çocuğun zihin geliştirmesindeki önemi,istekleri belirlenerek arzulan doğrultusunda hikaye kitabı oluşturulmuştur.Kitap çocuğun zihin geliştirilmesinde yararlı bir araçtır.Bu kadar yararlı bir aracın da yazı,içerik,biçim,renk ve kapak olarak en iyi şekilde hazırlanması ve sunulmasının sağlanmasına özen gösterilmiştir.
SUMMARY To love children is to respect their rights. When we take them seriously, we help their psychological developments. For this reason, children will be active, thoughtful, brave, and say what they think in the next part of their life instead of being coward, introverted and shy. This thesis includes the children age 6-12 and occurs two section called theoretic and practical. In the theoretic section, physical development of children was searched and produced. In the practical section, there is a questionary including children's interests and studying about children's books was investigated. Taking note of their emotion and thought, it was emphasized that we had to show them enough interest and grow them up in the atmosphere of love and confidence. As a person, the importance of children among the other members of the society was stressed, mainly their expectations from their parents. Their pictures were researched and tried to explain their interest abaut paintings. A child is the person who wants to get his physical emotional and social necessities. Therefore, love, tenderness and the feeling of confidence which is shown to child will affect him in positive way. We mustn't forget that we can see the result of every positive behaviour we'll present to them and meet their need and was tried to be clarified what the features and importance of illustration in the childrens books are. In the first section, the development of child, the importance of the development of child and pictures they draw according to their character was told, having compared their period in the kindergarten and primary school, the period of time they spent was described. In the second section, child as a creator, characters he drew in his pictures and general features of them were told and the importance of the picture in his life was stressed. rvIn the third section, childresn's books and their features were mentioned. Books are valuable and effective for everybody and for children, either. The importance of story books with their heroes and heroines, their styles and contents were explained. The visual sings in the story books were tried to be given as perfect (complete) with illustration,colours writing and graphic concept. In the fourth section, the importance of illustration and its history in Turkey was told and its importance was described in stories, books and posters. In the fifth section, there is a questionnaire about children and its results. According to the results of questionnaire a model story book was tried to be created depending on their choices-colour, style and subject Book is a useful means in the mental development of a child soch a useful means should be taken care to be prepared and presented in terms of writing, content, style, colour and cover.
