185 Numaralı Deftere Göre İstanbul Medreseleri Nüfus (1844)

Abstract

Türk-İslam devletlerinin önemli bir eğitim kurumu olan medreseler, Osmanlı Devleti'nde de önemini korumuştur. Yapmış olduğumuz çalışmada, 1844 yılına ait İstanbul Medreseleri Nüfus Defteriyle ilgili bilgiler verilmeye çalışılmıştır. Tezin giriş bölümünde medreselerin tarihi süreç içerisindeki gelişimi, Osmanlı Devletinde medreseler, medreselerde bulunan elemanlarla ilgili bilgi verilmiştir. Birinci bölümde defter hakkında tanıtıcı bilgiler verildikten sonra, isim, lakap, unvan, yaş ve fiziki özelliklerle ilgili bilgiler verilip, medreseler arası hareketlilik üzerinde durulmuştur. Aynı zamanda bu hususlarla ilgili bilgiler tablolar halinde gösterilmiştir. İkinci bölümde ise İstanbul medreseleri hakkında genel bilgi verilip, 1844 yılı İstanbul medreselerine ait nüfus defterinin çevirisi ile beraber, defterde bulunan medreseler hakkında bilgiler verilmiştir. Madrasas which are the important educatinal institution of Turkish Islamic states maintain their importance in the Ottoman Empire, too and enhance their effectiveness increasingly. The work that we have done has been tried to give information about the population registry of İstanbul Madrasas which belong to the year of 1844. In the introduction of our thesis, some brief information about when the researches which are about İstanbul Madrasas start, it is stated that some researches about İstanbul Madrasas were done at different times. Our thesis has three sections. At the first section, some information about the development of madrasas in the historical process, the madrasas of Ottoman Empire, madrasa and its elements is given. At the second section, after giving introductory information and informing according to name, nick name, appellation, age and physical conditions, the dynamism among the madrasas is emphasized. In the meantime, information about these matters are pointed in the charts. In the third part, giving general information about the madrasas in Istanbul, with the translation of population registry, 1844 of Istanbul madrasas and the information about the madrasas, mentioned in the population registry, are acquainted.
