Abstract
Bu çalışmada, katı atık düzenli depolama alanlarında alternatif örtü malzemesi olarak zeolit, perlit, bentonit, pomza ve vermikülit kullanımının sızıntı suyunun iletimine ve sızıntı suyundaki kirleticilerin arıtımına etkisi incelenmiştir. Laboratuar şartlarında hazırlanan cam kabinlerin tabanına doğal materyaller yerleştirilmiş ve üzerlerine evsel nitelikli katı atık ilave edilmiştir. Pilot ölçekli katı atık depolama sistemlerinin tabanında biriken sızıntı suyunda 1 Şubat 2007 ile 1 Haziran 2007 tarihleri arasında haftalık ve 2 haftalık ölçüm yapılmıştır. Bu süre boyunca tabanda biriken sızıntı suyunda; sızıntı suyu miktarı, pH, iletkenlik, nitrat (NO3), amonyum (NH4), fosfat (PO4), kimyasal oksijen ihtiyacı (KOİ), toplam organik karbon (TOK), Organik Madde, biyolojik oksijen ihtiyacı (BOİ), KOI/TOK ve BOİ/KOİ belirlenmiştir. Çalışma sonunda, sızıntı suyunu en iyi tutan materyalin bentonit en düşük tutanın % 24,71 ile zeolit olduğu belirlenmiştir. NO3, NH4, NTop, KOİ ve Organik Madde gideriminde en etkili materyalin zeolit olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır. Genel olarak perlitin diğer materyallere göre daha düşük kirletici giderim verimine sahip olduğu görülmüştür. Ayrıca kullanılan tüm doğal materyallerin PO4, organik madde ve BOİ gideriminde yüksek verimliliğe sahip olduğu anlaşılmıştır. In this Study is to investigate effects of zeolite, perlite, bentonite, pomza and vermiculite which is used as alternate liner material in the sanitary landfill transmission of leachate and treatment of pollutant in leachate. Natural materials was placed base of cabins with 1/10 slope was used, which is made of glass, in this study and solid waste was added on top of natural material. Measurements were made for the period of week and two weeks starting from 1st of February 2007 to 1st of June. The leachate quantity, pH, conductivity, nitrate (NO3), ammonium (NH4), phosphate (PO4), chemical oxygen demand (COD), total organic carbon (TOC), organic matter, biological oxygen demand (BOD), COD/TOC, and BOD/TOC parameters measured during 1st of February 2007 to 1st of June. The results of the study, the material of the best keeping of leachate is bentonite , and the material of low keeping of leachate is zeolite as 24.71%. The zeolite has best material removal of nitrate (NO3), ammonium (NH4), chemical oxygen demand (COD), and organic matter. The perlite has generally lower removal of pollutants than the other materials. In addition to, It is determined that all the natural materials has high efficiencies removal of phosphate (PO4), organic matter, and biological oxygen demand (BOD).
