Publication: Üniversitede Okuyan Ebelik ve Hemşirelik Öğrencilerinin Dijital Bağımlılıklarının ve Akademik Öz Yeterliklerinin İncelenmesi
Abstract
Amaç: Bu çalışma, hemşirelik ve ebelik öğrencilerinin dijital bağımlılık ve akademik öz yeterlik düzeylerinin farklı değişkenlere göre incelenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Materyal ve Metot: Tanımlayıcı araştırma ilkelerine uygun olarak yapılan bu çalışma Ondokuz Mayıs Üniversitesi Sağlık Bilimleri Fakültesi Hemşirelik ve Ebelik Bölümlerinde okuyan 526 öğrenci ile Nisan - Mayıs 2019 tarihlerinde arasında yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın verileri 'Anket formu, Dijital Bağımlılık Ölçeği ve Akademik Öz Yeterlik Ölçeği ile toplanmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin değerlendirilmesinde sayı, yüzde, t testi ve F testi, Mann Whitney U ve Kruskal Wallis testi Sperman korelasyonu testi kullanılmıştır. Bu araştırma için rtik Kurulu onayı alınmıştır. Bulgular: Öğrencilerin yaş ortalaması 20.71±1,60 dir. Erkek öğrencilerin akademik öz yeterliği kadınların yüksek bulunmuştur. Ebelik öğrencilerinin akademik öz yeterliği daha yüksektir (p=0,044). Sosyal hayatta 30 adet ve üzerinde arkadaşı olanların akademik öz yeterliği daha yüksektir (p=0,022). Bilgisayar sahibi olanların dijital bağımlılığı daha yüksek bulunmuştur (p=0,027). Cep telefonu ve bilgisayar oyunu oynayanların dijital bağımlılıkları daha yüksek bulunmuştur (p=0,001). Gelir durumu giderinden az olanların dijital bağımlılıkları daha yüksek bulunmuştur (p=0,038). Sonuç: Öğrencilerin cinsiyete göre akademik öz yeterlik ve dijital bağımlılıklarının farklılık gösterdiği belirlenmiştir. Sosyal hayattaki arkadaş sayısının da dijital bağımlılık ve akademik öz yeterlik konusunda farklılıklara sebep olduğu ortaya konmuştur. Aim:This study was conducted in order to determine and compare the levels of digital addiction and academic self-efficacy of nursing and midwifery students according to different variables. Material and Method: This study, conducted in accordance with the descriptive research principles,was conducted between April and May 2019 with 526 students studying in the Department of Nursing and Midwifery at Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Health Sciences . The data of the study were collected by using 'Questinnaire form', Digital addiction scale and Academic self-efficacy scale. Number, percentage, t test, F test Mann whitney U test, Kruskal Wallis and Sperman Correlation test were used in the evaluation of the data obtained .Ethics committee approval was received for this research . Results: The avarage age of students is 20,71. The academic self-efficacy of male students was higher than that of women. Academik self-efficacy is higher for midwifery students. Those who have 30 or more friends in social life have higher academic self-efficacy. The digital addiction of singles and social friends is 0-10. The digital addiction of thıse playing mobile phones and computer games were found to be higher. Conclusion: It was determined that students academic self-efficacy and digital addiction differed by gender. It was also determined that the number of friends in social life caused differences in digital addiction and academic self-efficacy.
