Akut Stres Bozukluğunda Cinsiyete Bağlı Farklılıklar

Abstract

Akut stres bozukluğu olağandışı stresle karşılaşmayı izleyen bir ay içinde gelişen dissosiyatif anksiyete semptomları ile karakterizedir. Ondokuzmayıs Üniversitesi Tıp. Fak. Psikiyatri polikliniğinde Marmara Depremi sonrası DSM-IV tanı kriterlerine göre Akut stres bozukluğu tanısı konan otuzüç hasta çalışmaya alındı. Bu çalışmanın sonucuna göre, kadınların travmanın oluştuğu bölgeden erkeklere göre daha erken ayrıldığı ve psikiyatriste daha çabuk başvurduğu bulunmuştur.

The essential feature of acute stress disorder is the development of characteristic dissociative anxiety symptoms that occurs within 1 month after exposure to an extreme traumatic stressor. Thirty-three acute stress disorder patients diagnosed according to DSM-IV criteria in psychiatry outpatient clinic of Ondokuzmayis University hospital after Marmara earthquake were included in this study. In the result of this study it has been found that, the females leave the region earlier and apply to psychiatrists quicker according the males.
