Bilateral Brakhial Nöropati Kliniği ile Prezente Olan Sjögren Sendromu

Abstract

Sjögren sendromu (SS) hem santral sinir sistemi (SSS) hem de periferik sinir sistemini (PSS) etkileyebilir. PSS ile ilgili en sık simetrik sensorimotor periferik nöropati ve saf duysal simetrik polinöropati görülmektedir. Daha nadiren mononöritis multipleks ve brakhial nöropati gibi asimetrik polinöropati görülebilir. Bu yazıda bilateral brakhial nöropati kliniği ile ortaya çıkan bir olgunun klinik ve elektrofizyolojik özelliklerini sunuyoruz. Olgumuz, özellikle subakut- kronik asimetrik güçsüzlüğü olan hastalarda, ayırıcı tanıda Sjögren sendromunun düşünülmesi ve buna yönelik incelemelerin yapılması açısından önem taşımaktadır.Sjögren syndrome (SS) can affect either central nervous system (CNS) or peripheral nervous system (PNS). Symmetric sensorymotor peripheral neuropathy and pure sensorial symmetric polyneuropathy are the most common diseases observed in relation to PNS. Rarely, asymmetrical polyneuropathy such as mononeuritis multiplex and brachial neuropathy may be observed. In this article, we present the clinical and electrophysiological properties of a case which arises with dibrachial neuropathy. Our case is important in terms of evaluation of SS during definitive diagnosis and performing related examinations, especially in patients with a subacutechronical asymmetric weakness.
