Publication: Din Kültürü ve Ahlak Bilgisi Dersinde Ters Yüz Sınıf Modelinin Öğrencilerin Tutumlarına ve Akademik Başarılarına Etkisi
Abstract
Bu araştırma, DKAB dersinde ters yüz sınıf modelinin öğrencilerin akademik başarıları ve tutumları üzerine etkisinin incelendiği deneysel bir çalışmadır. Bu araştırma, Ordu ili Altınordu ilçesinin Başöğretmen Ortaokulu 5-6-7 ve 8. sınıflarında öğrenim görmekte olan sekiz sınıftaki toplam 203 öğrenci üzerinde yapılmıştır. Bu sınıflardan basit tesadüfi örnekleme yöntemiyle seçilen dört sınıf deney, diğer dört sınıf ise kontrol grubunu oluşturmuştur. Deney ve kontrol grubundaki öğrencilere nicel veri toplama araçları olan Din Kültürü ve Ahlak Bilgisi Dersine Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği ve Akademik Başarı Testi uygulanmıştır. Sadece deney grubuna sınıf öncesi ders videoları ve sınıf içi konu etkinlikleri uygulanmıştır. Söz konusu veri toplama tekniklerinden elde edilen bulgular çerçevesinde, ters yüz sınıf modeliyle işlenen dersin öğrencilerin DKAB dersine yönelik tutumları ve akademik başarıları üzerindeki etki düzeyi analiz edilerek hipotezler test edilmiştir. Verilerin istatistiksel analizi için bağımlı grup t-testi, bağımsız grup t-testi ve Anova kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, nicel veriler ters yüz sınıf modelinin öğrencilerin Din Kültürü ve Ahlak Bilgisi dersine yönelik tutumları ve akademik başarıları üzerinde olumlu bir etkisi olduğunu göstermektedir.
This research is an ex̄perimental study ex̄amining the effect of the flipped classroom model on the academic achievement and impact on attitudes of students in the lesson of DKAB. This research was carried out on 203 students in eight classes, who are studying in the 5-6-7 and 8th grades of the Başöğretmen Secondary School of Altınordu district of Ordu Province. Four classes selected from these classes by simple random sampling method were the ex̄perimental group and the other four were the control group. Attitude Scale and Academic Achievement Test for Religion Culture and Moral Knowledge, which are quantitative data collection tools, were applied to the students in the ex̄perimental and control groups. Only pre-class course videos and in-class subject activities were applied to the ex̄perimental group. Within the framework of the findings obtained from the said data collection techniques, the hypotheses were tested by analyzing the effect level of the course, which was carried out with the inverse class model, on the students' attitudes towards the DKAB course and their academic success. Independent sample t-test, paired sample t-test and Anova were used for statistical analysis of the data. As a result of the research, quantitative data show that the inverse class model has a positive effect on students' attitudes towards academic and religious culture and moral knowledge.
