Publication: Futbol Oynayan Kadın Sporcuların İletişim Becerilerinin Farklı Değişkenler Açısından İncelenmesi
Abstract
Spor, her zaman sağlıklı yaşamın bir öğesidir. Bu nedenle bireylerin sağlıklı bir yaşama sahip olmaları ve bu kazanımlarını geliştirmeleri süreklilik ve sürdürebilirlik açısından önemlidir. Özellikle Ortadoğu ülkelerinde, kadınların futbola olan ilgilerinin yeterli düzeyde olmadığı bilinmektedir. Bu durum sosyal kültürel, ekonomi ve dini değerlere bağımlı olarak değişkenlik göstermektedir. Bu amaçla, özellikle kadınların futbola olan duyarlılıkları diğer spor dallarıyla karşılaştırıldığında, yeterli olmaması nedeniyle, futbol oynayan kadınların iletişim becerileri açısından incelenmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Bu araştırmada Futbol oynayan kadın sporcuların iletişim becerilerinin, eğitim durumu, gelir düzeyi, kaç yıldır spor yapması, anne eğitim durumu, medeni durumu, baba eğitim durumu gibi farklı değişkenlere bağımlı olarak duygusal, zihinsel ve davranışsal özellikleri incelenmiştir. Çalışma 251 kadın sporcuda, 18-29 yaş aralığı dikkate alınarak irdelenmiştir. Elde edilen veriler SPSS analiz programı ile istatiksel analizleri yapılmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak araştırmamızda Ersanlı ve Balcı'nın(1998) tarafından 5'li likert tipi derecelendirme kullanılan 45 maddeden oluşan ''İletişim Becerileri Envanteri (İBE)'' kullanılmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen verilerin istatiksel analizinde, normallik testi, bağımsız örneklem t-testi ve tek yönlü varyans analizinin parametrik karşılığı olan KrusskalWallis testi kullanılmıştır. Yapılmış olan testlerdeverilerin normal dağılmadığı görülmüştür. Medeni duruma bağlı olarak İletişim toplam puanı, Zihinsel ve Davranışsal alt parametrelerinde istatistiksel olarak anlamlı fark olduğu görülmüştür.(p<0.05). Spor yapma yılına bağlı olarak İletişimin Davranışsal, Zihinsel alt parametrelerinde ve toplam skorunda istatistiksel olarak anlamlı fark olduğu saptandı (p<0.05). İletişimin davranışsal alt parametrelerinin sporla uğraşma yılına göre değişmediği bulundu (p>0.05). Son olarak futbol oynayan kadın sporcuların iletişim becerilerinin farklı değişkenler açısından incelenmesi ile ilgili yeterli düzeyde çalışmaların az olması nedeniyle iletişim konusunda yeni beceri ve bilgilerin kazandırılması için yapılacak çalışmaların zeminini oluşturabileceği düşünülmektedir. Bu nedenle Türkiye'de futbol oynayan kadın sporcuların iletişim becerilerinin farklı değişkenler açısından incelenmesi ve sonuçları ile ilgili araştırmanın bilgi birikimine yararı olacağı kanaatindeyiz.
Sport is always an element of healthy life. For this reason, it is important for individuals to have a healthy life and to develop these gains in terms of continuity and sustainability. It is known that women's interest in football is not sufficient, especially in Middle Eastern countries. This situation varies depending on social, cultural, economic and religious values. For this purpose, it is aimed to examine women playing football in terms of communication skills, especially since women's sensitivity to football is not sufficient when compared to other sports branches. In this study, the emotional, mental and behavioral characteristics of the communication skills of female football players, depending on different variables such as education status, income level, how many years of sports, mother's education level, marital status, father's education level were examined. The study was examined in 251 female athletes, taking into account the age range of 18-29. The obtained data were statistically analyzed with the SPSS analysis program. As a data collection tool, 'Communication Skills Inventory (ICI)', which consists of 45 items using 5-point Likert-type rating, was used by Ersanlı and Balcı (1998). In the statistical analysis of the data obtained from the research, normality test, independent sample t-test and Krusskal-Wallis test, which is the parametric equivalent of one-way analysis of variance, were used. In the tests performed, it was observed that the data were not normally distributed. There was a statistically significant difference in the Communication total score, Mental and Behavioral sub-parameters depending on marital status (p<0.05). A statistically significant difference was found in the Behavioral and Mental subparameters of Communication and the total score depending on the year of doing sports (p<0.05). It was found that behavioral sub-parameters of communication did not change according to the year of doing sports (p>0.05). Finally, due to the lack of sufficient studies on the examination of the communication skills of female football players in terms of different variables, it is thought that it can form the basis of studies to gain new skills and knowledge in communication. For this reason, we believe that examining the communication skills of female athletes playing football in Turkey in terms of different variables and researching the results will be beneficial for the accumulation of knowledge.
