1,3-Bis(2-Phenylethyl)-Benzimidazolium-2-Dithiocarboxylate

Abstract

The title compound, C<inf>24</inf>H<inf>22</inf>N<inf>2</inf>S<inf>2</inf>, crystallizes with two independent molecules in the asymmetric unit; these have essentially the same geometry. However, the dihedral angles between the planes of the two phenyl rings are 30.8 (1) and 21.6 (1)°, respectively, in the two molecules. © 2004 International Union of Crystallography Printed in Great Britain - all rights reserved.
