Ortaokul Öğretmenlerinin Dindarlık Düzeyleri ile Empatik Eğilim Düzeylerinin Bazı Değişkenler Açısından İncelenmesi (Ünye Örneği)

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı, ortaokul öğretmenlerinde dindarlık ve empati ilişkisini bazı değişkenler açısından tespit etmektir. Araştırmanın örneklemini, Ünye'de görev yapan öğretmenlerden, seçkisiz örneklem yoluyla seçilen 127 bayan ve 127 bay olmak üzere 254 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada kullanılan dindarlık envanteri Naci KULA'nın 'Kimlik ve Din' adlı doktora çalışmasından alınmış olup, empatiyi ölçmek için de Üstün DÖKMEN'in 'Empatik Eğilim Ölçeği' kullanılmıştır. Araştırma bir giriş ve iki bölümden oluşmaktadır. Giriş bölümünde araştırmanın problemi, amacı, önemi, hipotezleri, sınırlılıkları, kaynakları ve metodolojisi hakkında bilgiler verilmiştir. Araştırmanın birinci bölümünde dinin tanımı, dini hayatın boyutları, dindarlık kavramı, empatinin kökeni, empati kavramının tanımı, empati kurmanın neden önemli olduğu, empati ve din arasındaki ilişki araştırılmış, İslamiyet'in empatiye bakış açısı incelenmiştir. İkinci bölümde araştırmanın yöntemi, modeli, örneklem grubu ve özellikleri, bulgular ve yorum ortaya konulmuştur. Sonuç kısmında ise araştırmada elde edilen bulgular ile ilgili genel bir değerlendirme yapılmış ve tavsiyelerde bulunulmuştur. Araştırmada elde edilen verilerin istatistiksel analizinde SPSS (Statistical For Social Sciences) WINDOWS 15.0 İstatik Paket Programı, hipotezlerin test edilmesinde tek yönlü varyans analizi (ANOVA), t testi, korelasyon teknikleri kullanılmıştır. Sonuç olarak, ortaokul öğretmenlerinin dindarlık düzeylerinin çocuk durumu, branş ve görevden duyulan memnuniyete göre anlamlı bir değişme gösterdiği; empati düzeyinin ise, cinsiyet, çocuk durumu, mesleği isteyerek seçme ve memnuniyet durumuna göre anlamlı bir değişme gösterdiği bulunmuştur. Dindarlığın, empatinin artmasında önemli bir etken olduğu görülmüştür. In this research, 254 teachers who were selected randomly were investigated.127 of these teachers were male and 127 of them were famale.Piety ınvestory that was used in this research was taken from the study of Naci KULA, named as religion and ıdentits and the scale of educatıon empathy, preparcd by Üstün DÖKMEN was used to determine the empathy. This research consists of two parts with an introduction.In the introduction part, the importance and the aim of the research,problem, hypothesis, boundedness, related studies and methodology are handled. In the first part of this research, the description of the religion, the concept of the piety, the roots of the empathy, the reason of why people should use empathy, the relation between the empathy and the religion was searched of Islam was investigated. In the second part, research's method, sample group and its features, findings and comment are handled. In the conclusion part a general evaluation about the findings which were obtained in the research was made and recommendation were made. In the statistical analysis of data which was obtained from the research (statistical for social sciences) WINDOWS 15.0 statistical package program, in the prove of hypothesis one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), t- test, correlation have been used. As a result, it is pound that religiosity status change according to the secondary school teacher's status of having children, their branch, and their satisfaction towards their jobs, on the other hand empathy level is changiny according to their gender, chldren is status, chosing their job willingly.It is observed that religiosity scheme is an important determinant on the increase of empathy.
