Afganistan'ın Sosyo-Ekonomik Gelişmişlik Düzeyinin Eco Üyesi Ülkeler İle Karşılaştırmalı Analizi

Abstract

Sosyo-ekonomik gelişme, ekonomik büyüme kavramıyla birlikte, yapısal ve insani gelişmeyi içine alan sosyal değişkenleri de kapsamaktadır. Bilimsel çalışmalarda ülkelerin gelişmişlik düzeyini araştırmak amacıyla, çok sayıda ekonomik, sosyal ve kültürel değişkenlerle ülkelerin sosyo-ekonomik gelişmişlik düzeylerinin karşılaştırılması önem arzetmektedir. Bu çalışma Afganistan'ın sosyo ekonomik gelişmişlik düzeyini ECO üyesi ülkeler ile mukayese etmek amacıyla hazırlanmıştır. Çalışmada kapsamına dahil edilen ECO üyesi ülkelerin demografik ve sağlık, eğitim ve kültür, istihdam, gelir ve yoksulluk, hayat kalitesi ve çevre ve kalkınma ana değişkenleri analiz edilmiştir. Veri ve değişkenler arasındaki benzerlik ya da farklılıkları tespit etmede kullanılan istatistiksel yöntemlerden kümeleme analizi kullanılmıştır. Kümeleme analizi sonucunda, Afganistan'ın temel olarak sosyo-ekonomik açıdan benzer olduğu ülke gruplarının değişiklik göstermekle birlikte daha çok Pakistan ile aynı grupta yer aldığı görülmektedir.

Socio economic development includes the concept of economic growth as well as social variables including structural and human development . In order to investigate the level of development of the countries, it is important to compare the socio-economic development levels of the countries with numerous economic social and cultural variables. This study was prepared to compare the socio economic development level of Afghanistan with ECO member countries. The demographic and health, education and culture, employment income and poverty, quality of life and environment and development of ECO member countries included in the study were analyzed. Clustering analysis one of the statistical methods used to detect similarities or differences between data and variables was used. As a result of the clustering analysis, it is seen that although the groups of countries in which Afghanistan is basically similar in terms of socio economic changes vary, Pakistan is mostly in the same group with Afghanistan.
