Abstract

Elastofibroma dorsi is a rare, slow-growing so. tissue tumor of the chest wall. The tumor typically located under the lower pole of the scapula. A 57-year-old woman who had retired as a teacher, presented with a 1-year history of pain on the back and with a 3-month history of swelling located under the le. scapula. Computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging showed bilateral, solid so. tissue tumors under the scapula. She underwent total resection of the tumor on the le. side. Tumor was diagnosed histopathologically as elastofibroma. Elastofibroma dorsi can be undetermined because of its localization. Radiological examination is important especially on diagnosis of bilateral localization.
