Dijital Görsel Kültür ve Yeni Medya Ekseninde Sanatın Değişen Rolü

Abstract

Araştırmada, en değişmez özelliği 'değişim' olan sanatın; günümüz kültürel dönüşümler ve teknolojik gelişmelerle birlikte sergilediği yönelim incelenmektedir. Görsel kültür çalışmalarına çokça konu edilen sanatın kültürü yansıtma rolü, dijitalleşme sonucu gerçekleştirilen etkileşimli iletişim modeliyle değişime uğramakta; yeni medya teknolojileri ile yeni ifade yollarına, yeni malzeme kullanımına ve yeni biçim arayışlarına cevap vererek multi-disipliner bir anlayış ile alanını genişletmektedir. Günümüzde sanatın değişiminde dijital görsel kültür ve yeni medya eksen bir karakter sergilemektedir. Araştırma, literatürün bu bağlamda incelenmesi ile başlayıp çözümleme ve tespitlerle son bulmuştur. Sonuçta, ideolojilerden uzak tutulan; estetik, lojik, pragmatik ve etik değerlerleri önemseyen; bilim, sanat ve teknolojinin aynı potada eritildiği hibrit yapılanmaların eğitim ortamlarında yaygınlaştırılmasının gerekliliğinin önemine vurgu yapılmıştır. Çağdaş sanat, bir yandan yeni teknolojileri bir parçası olarak benimseyerek -araçsallaştırarak- gelişimini sürdürecek; diğer yandan bilim ve teknolojinin bir aracısı olarak ontolojik sorunlarını geleceğe taşıyacaktır. Türkiye'de sanat eğitimi verilen üniversitelerde az sayıda bulunan yeni medya bölümlerinin yaygınlaştırılmasının, gelişimine teknoloji eksenli devam eden sanatın bu yeni varoluş ve ifade alanı ile birlikte değerlendirilmesinde faydalı olacağına vurgu yapılmaktadır. In this study, the art whose most permanent feature is 'change' and the orientation displaying with today's cultural transformation and technological developments are examined. The role of reflecting culture of the art which is greatly subject to the visual culture studies varies in interactive communication model , performed as a result of the digitalization; it expands its area with a multi-disciplinary mentality by giving answers the new media technologies, the new expressions, the usage of the new items, the new format searches. Nowadays, the digital visual culture and the new media have displayed an axis character in the change of art. The research begins with the survey of the literature in this context , and then it finishes with the analysis and determinations. Eventually, it is emphasized that Hybrid structures where the art and technology are melted in the same pot, kept away from the ideologies; caring about the aesthetic, logic, pragmatic and ethic values should be generalized in educational environments. The contemporary art, on the one hand, continuous its development as a part of the new technologies, adopted-instrumentalized; on the other hand, it carries its ontological problems to the future as an intermediary of the science and the technology. It is emphasized that it will be beneficial to assess together the disseminating the new media departments which are very few in the universities where the art education is given in Turkey and the existence and the expression area of the art which continues its development on technology-based.
