Altınkaya Baraj Gölünde Yaşayan Capoeta Tinca (Heckel, 1843)'nın Yaş Belirleme Yöntemleri

Abstract

Bu çalışma Mart 1990 - Aralık 1990 tarihleri arasında Capoeta tinca'nın yaş tayini metotlarını incelemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Daha önce Altınkaya Baraj Gölü'nde C. tinca'nın biyolojisinin belirlenmesinde kullanılan yaş tayini metotlarıyla ilgili olarak yapılan bir çalışmaya tesadüf edilmemiştir. C. tinca'nın yaşının belirlenmesi için 9 kemiksi oluşum seçilmiştir. Bu oluşumlardan pul, otolit, operkül, omur, suboperkül ve dorsal yüzgeç ışınında, belirlenen metotlarla yaş tayini yapılmıştır. Operkül, suborperkül, otolit ve omur ksilol ortamında, pullar iki lam arasına konarak, dorsal yüzgeç ışınları enine kesitler alınıp preparat haline getirildikten sonra binoküler mikroskopta incelenmiştir. Toplam 158 örnek üzerinde yapılan yaş tayini neticesinde en güvenilir kemiksi oluşumun omur olduğu anlaşılmıştır. Yine kemiksi oluşumlardan olan hipural, urostil ve frontal kemikte annuluslar gözlenemediğinden okuma yapılamamıştır. Okuma yapılan toplam 158 balık örneğinin % 52.53'ünü erkek bireyler oluşturmaktadır. En güvenilir kemiksi oluşum seçilen omura göre operkül, suboperkül ve otolitte normalin üstünde, pul ve dorsal yüzgeç ışınında ise normalin altında okuma yapılmıştır. Yaş tayini yapılan kemiksi oluşumlar arasındaki ilişkiler grafiklerle gösterilmiştir. Daha sonra bu grafiklere nonparametrik istatistik metotlarından işaret testi (Z) uygulanarak en güvenilir oluşum tesbit edilmiştir.

This study has been dealt with the experimenting methods of age determination of Capoeta tinea living in Altinkaya Dam Lake, from March to December 1990. It has not been carried out such a study of Altinkaya Dam up to now releated to the age Determination methods which using the biology of C. tinea. It has been chosen, 9 bony stuctures to determine age of C. tinea. Ages of the samples were determined by studying with methods on scales, otoliths, opercular, vertebrae, subopercular bones and dorsal fin rays. Opercular, subopercular, otoliths and vertebrae in xylol medium, the scales were inserted between two glass slides, the dorsal fin rays were prepared in transversal slices and then they were examined under binoculer microscope. As a result of totally 158 sample experimental observation, it has been understood that the most reliable bony structures in determining the age of C. tinea are vertebrae. In addition, in hypural, urostyl and frontal bone, membering of the bony structures, annulus have not been read because of their unobservability. Totally 52.53 percent of 158 readible fish samples are included in by male members. According to the vertebrae chosen most reliable bony structure, opercular, subopercular, otolith have been read opper, scales and dorsal fin rays abnormally. Relationships among the age determined bony structures have been presented by diagrams. After that the most reliable structure have been determined by applying the demonstrative test (Z), one of nonparametric statistic methods, to these diagrams.
