Publication: Farklı Toprak Tuzluluğunun Tritikalede (Triticosacale Wittm.) Büyüme ve Verim Parametreleri Üzerine Etkisi
Abstract
Triticale is an alternative cereal plant developed as a result of hybridization of wheat and rye plants in order to meet the increasing food demand. This study was carried out with Alperbey triticale cultivar in 7 different soil salinities in 2020 growing years in order to determine the growth and yield of different soil salinity of Triticale plant. In the research, 12 parameters were determined as plant height, main stem thickness, spike length, number of grains per spike, number of siblings, biomass yield, grain yield, number of spike per square meter, harvest index, thousand grain weight, grain length and grain width weight. examined. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that there were statistical differences in all parameters except grain width in terms of salt levels. As the salt stress increased, the parameters of plant height, main stem thickness, spike length, number of grains, number of siblings increased, while there were significant decreases in the parameters of grain width, grain length, thousand grain weight, number of spike per square meter, grain yield, grain weight per spike. It was determined that the resistance of the triticale plant to soil salt stress began to decrease after 6.00 dS m-1, the grain yield decreased when the salt stress increased to 12.00 dS m-1 and there was no tillering. In the study, it was determined that triticale did not germinate at 15.00 dS m-1 soil salinity.
