İki Farklı Kültürde Annelerin Anne Sütü Arttırmaya Yönelik Başvurdukları Alternatif Yöntemlerinin İncelenmesi

Abstract

ÖZET İKİ FARKLI KÜLTÜRDE ANNELERİN ANNE SÜTÜ ARTTIRMAYA YÖNELİK BAŞVURDUKLARI ALTERNATİF YÖNTEMLERİNİN İNCELENMESİ Amaç: Bu araştırma iki farklı kültürde annelerin anne sütünü arttırmaya yönelik başvurdukları alternatif yöntemlerinin incelenmesi ve iki farklı kültürde uygulanan alternatif yöntemlerin karşılaştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Materyal ve Metot: Karşılaştırmalı tanımlayıcı özellikte olan bu araştırma, örneklemi Saraybosna ili İlidza, Novi Grad ve Centar bölgesinde ve Samsun ili İlkadım bölgesinde yapılmıştır. Örneklemi Aile Sağlığı Merkezine kayıtlı olan ve o bölgede yaşayan, araştırmaya katılmayı kabul eden, iletişim kurulabilen, 0-2 yaş çocuğa sahip olan ve okuma yazma bilen, 200 anne oluşturmuştur. Araştırmada veriler, Anket Formu ile 15.12.2015-15.06.2016 ile tarihleri arasında toplanmıştır (3 ayda Türkiye'de ve 3 ayda Saraybosna'da). Araştırmanın verileri araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan soru formu ile toplanmıştır. Soru formu Aile Sağlık Merkezlerine gelen anneler tarafından soru cevap yöntemi ile doldurulmuştur. Anket sonuçları farklı verilerin değerlendirilmesi SPSS 22'den yapılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde Mann-Whitney U testi ile Kruskal Wallis H-Testi kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Araştırmada Türkiye'den katılanların % 35-i lise ve % 31 ilkokul mezunu, Bosna'dan katılanların %58 lise mezunudur. Her iki ülkede (Türkiyede % 79,8 ; Saraybosnada % 72,2) de katılanların çoğunluğunun aile tipinin, çekirdek aile olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Her iki kültürde de anne sütünü artırmaya yönelik en etkili bulunan yöntemin bol su ve sıvı gıdalar tüketmek olduğu saptanmıştır. Sonuç: ASM bölgelerinde daha geleneksel ve geleneksel modern uygulamalar yapılmaktadır. Bu bölgelerde yaşayan annelere, anne sütü ile besleme ve doğum sonrası ilk altı ayda anne sütünü artırmaya ve bebeğinin gelişimine yönelik geleneksel uygulamaların etkileri hakkında eğitim verilmeli ve ev ziyaretlerinde verilen eğitimin etkililiğini değerlendirmelidir. ABSTRACT RESEARCHING ALTERNATIVE METHODS THAT MOTHERS APPLY FOR INCREASING BREAST MİLK İN TWO DİFFERENT CULTURE Aim: The aim of this research is to examine the alternative methods that mothers apply to increase mother's milk during breastfeeding and to compare the alternative methods that mothers applied in two different cultures. Material and Method: The sample consisted of 200 mothers who were registered in the Family Health Center in the Sarajevo's municipality of Ilidza, Novi Grad, Centar and in the Family Health Center in the Samsun's municipality of Ilkadim; who were living in that area, communicative, literate, accepting participation in this research and having 0-2 years old child. The questionnaire data were collected between 15.12.2015 and 15.06.2016 with the survey form (3 months in Sarajevo and 3 months in Samsun). The question form was filled in by the question and answer method by the mothers who came to the Family Health Centers. The results of the questionnaire were evaluated from SPSS 22 for different data. Survey results were compared according to different variables. Mann-Whitney U test and Kruskal Wallis H-test were used to compare the two categorical variables. Results: İn this study 35% mothers from Turkiye graduated from high school and 31% mothers graduated from primary school, whereas in Bosnia, 58% of mothers are graduates of high school. In both countries (79.8% in Turkey and 72.2% in Sarajevo), it was determined that the majority of the participants were the family type, nuclear family. In both cultures, it was determined that the most effective method to increase the mother's milk during breastfeeding was to consume water and liquid foods. Conclusion: The health center regions are being made traditional practice and traditional modern practice. The mothers, living in these regions should be educated about breastfeeding and breastfeeding during the first six months of life and about traditional practice to the development of an infant and should assess the effectiveness of education at home visits.
