Erken Çocukluk Döneminde Doğruluk, Empati, Merhamet, Adalet ve Sorumluluk Davranışlarının Kazandırılmasında Duygusal Zekanın Etkisi

Abstract

Bu çalışma, erken çocukluk döneminde doğruluk, empati, merhamet, adalet ve sorumluluk gibi ahlâki davranışların kazandırılmasında duygusal zekanın etkisini gözlemlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Çalışmamızda ön test – son test, gözlem, toplantı, aile katılımı ve eğitim yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmamız için Çorum Merkez Ulukavak Anaokulu'nda eğitim gören 4-5 yaş grubu sınıflarından 15'er kişilik iki örnek grup seçilmiştir. Gruplardan biri kontrol grubu, diğeri deney grubu olmuştur. Çalışma kapsamında deney grubuna doğruluk, empati, merhamet, adalet ve sorumluluk gibi ahlâki davranışların kazandırılmasına yönelik, drama ve aile katılımı etkinlikleri uygulanmış, kontrol grubunda uygulamalar yapılmamıştır. Uygulamalarda mevcut okul öncesi eğitim müfredatı dışına çıkmamak için Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı Okul Öncesi Eğitim Program kitabında yer alan sosyal ve duygusal alan kazanım ve göstergeleri kullanılmıştır. Çalışma sonunda kontrol ve deney grubuna başta uygulanan 'Bar-On Duygusal Zeka Testi Çocuk ve Ergen Formu' son test olarak tekrar uygulanmıştır. The aim of this study was to observe the effect of emotional intelligence on the acquisition of moral behaviors such as truthfulness, empathy, compassion, justice and responsibility in early childhood. In our study, pre-test-final test, observation, meeting, family participation and education method were used. For our research, two sample groups of 15 people were selected from 4-5 age group classes educated at Çorum Central Ulukavak kindergarten. One of the groups was the control group and the other was the experimental group. In the scope of the study, drama and family participation activities were applied to the experimental group to gain moral behaviors such as accuracy, empathy, compassion, justice and responsibility, and no applications were made in the control group. In order not to fall outside the existing preschool education curriculum in the applications, social and emotional field acquisition and indicators included in the preschool education program book of the Ministry of Education were used. At the end of the study, the 'Bar-On Emotional Intelligence Test child and adolescent form', which was applied in the first place to the control and experimental group, was applied again as the final test.
