Abstract

?el-Mutarrizî'nin el-İknâ Adlı Eseri ve Dil Öğretim Yöntemi? ismini taşıyan tezimiz, Ondokuz Mayıs Üniversitesi, Eğitim Bilimleri Enstitüsü, Temel İslam Bilimleri Anabilim Dalı Arap Dili Ve Belagati Bilim Dalı'nda yapılmıştır. Tez danışmanı Yrd. Doç. Dr. Osman KESKİNER'dir. Tez, Haziran 2011'de Ankara'da XVII+359 sayfa olarak hazırlanmıştır.Bu çalışmada, el-Mutarrizî'nin ?el-İknâè adlı eseri, dil öğretim yöntemi açısından incelenmekte ve kitabında kullandığı öğretim yöntemi ele alınmaktadır. Bu tezde ortaya konduğu gibi el-İknâ, konuları işlerken farklı ve sıra dışı bir yöntem izlemiştir. Arapça dil öğretim yöntemine getirdiği yenilikler, eserin önemini artıran etkenlerin başında gelmektedir.Bu çalışma, yaklaşık 800 yıl önce telif edilmiş, yazma halindeki bir eser üzerinde yapılmıştır. Gramerin doğru kullanımını gösteren, kullanışlı bir sözlük niteliğinde olan eserde, kelimelerin sahih ve yaygın kullanımları yer almakta, kötü ve şaz kullanımlara ise yer verilmemektedir. Eser 250 varak olup, dört ana bölüme (esmâ', efâl, hurûf, nahv) ayrılmıştır. Her ana bölüm ise yine dört alt bölüme ve çok sayıda alt başlığa ayrılmıştır. Eser çok sayıda eşanlamlıyı içermektedir. Yine eser, yazıldığı tarihteki (modern) kullanım ile eski kullanımları birbirinden ayırmış ve bu konuda beyitlerden örnekler vermiştir.Dünyada yedi yazma nüshası bulunan eserin en önemli nüshalarından biri (müellifin vefatından sonra kopyalanmış olup) İstanbul Süleymaniye Kütüphanesi Atıf Efendi Koleksiyonu'nda bulunmaktadır. Tezimizde bu yazma nüsha kullanılmıştır ve çalışmamızın bölümlerinde bu nüshaya detaylı atıflarda bulunulmuştur.Bu tezde el-İknâè'nın ele alınmasının temel sebepleri, şimdiye kadar eser hakkında tek bir çalışma yapılması ve el-Mutarrizî'nin bilim adamları arasında meşhur olmasıdır. Bu çalışmadaki amaç, böyle kıymetli bir eseri ilim dünyasına tanıtmak ve Türklerin Arap diline yaptığı katkıyı ortaya koymaktır. Çalışma, tarama ve tasnif yöntemi kullanılarak yapılmış, elde edilen bulgular üç ana başlık altında incelenmiştir. Çalışma sonunda, yazarın önceki ilim adamlarının fikirlerinden yararlandığı, ancak yaptığı sınıflandırmalarla kendine has bir üslup ve bakış açısı da geliştirdiği tespit edilmiştir. Bu çalışmanın hem klâsik Arap grameri araştırmalarında acak olanlara, hem de karşılaştırmalı modern ve klâsik gramer araştırmalarında araştırmacılara faydalı olacağı kanaatini taşımaktayız.

This dissertation is titled as ?al-Iqna by Al-Mutarrizi and its Language Teaching Method?. It is studied at the Ondokuz Mayıs University, Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Basic Islamic Studies, Arab Language and Rhetoric programme. It is supervised by Assistan Professor Dr. Osman KESKİNER. The dissertation is submitted in June 2011 and contains XVII+359 pages.This dissertation deals with al-İqnâ by al-Mutarrizî from the perspective of language teaching methodology and explains the teaching method introduced by it. It is the contention of this dissertation that al-Iqna, by following an exceptional method, introduces new teaching techniques of the Arabic language. This increases the value of al-Ikna.The manuscript that is studied in this dissertation is al-Iqna, an Arabic grammar book that was written about 800 years ago. It is a handy lexicon with precise grammatical explanations. It includes ?good and usual? words and omits the ?bad and unusual? ones. Consisting of 250 waraqs, it is divided into four parts (asma>, af-dl, huruf, nahw), which are in turn divided in four chapters each and many subsections. al-Iqna is very rich in synonyms. It distinguishes modern and ancient linguistic usages and quotes verses in illustration.There exists seven hand-written copies of al-Iqna in the world. One of these copies is located at the Süleymaniye Library in Istanbul as part of the Atıf Efendi Collection. It is this copy of al-Iqna, which was produced after the death of the author, is used as the reference text in this dissertation. The chapters of this dissertation are based on a thorough study of the reference text.The main reasons why this dissertation is on al-Iqna are that the manuscript has been a subject to only one study so far, and its author, al-Mutarrizi, is well-known among scholars. The aim of this dissertation is to introduce this valuable work to scholarly community and further illustrate, in the example of al-Iqna, the contribution of the Turks to the Arabic language. The research and classification methods are used in this dissertation and the findings are evaluated in three parts. This dissertation finds that, although the author of the manuscript had benefited from the ideas put forward before him, he developed his own style and perspective through his classifications.It is believed that this dissertation will be useful to those who will conduct research into the knowledge of Arabic grammar in the classical period and to those who will conduct a comparative study into the sources of modern and classic Arabic grammar.
