Kadın Kimliği ve Pazartesi Dergileri Bağlamında Kadın Meselesi

Abstract

The social status of women and women has been the subject of discussion in every period in the historical process. Everything from the education life of the women, who is the subject of the discussions, to her working life, from her family relations to her social status, has been discussed by various groups. Therefore, the positioning of women and women in the social sphere has also been shaped on the axis of different beliefs, ideology and culture. The social position of women in Turkey has changed over time due to various reasons. In this study, the issue of women and women public sphere integration is discussed in the axis of the feminist and Islamic women's movement that developed in Turkey in the 1990s. The women's movements that gained momentum in the 1980s in Turkey were transferred to 1990 with different discourses. In the 1990s, women and the issue of women were discussed in the example of Kadın Kimliği and Pazartesi and a detailed analysis were made by choosing among the issues of both magazines covering the period 1995-1999. In the study, it has been tried to reveal how the integration of women and women in the public sphere is evaluated from the perspective of feminist and İslamic women and what kind of discourse, policy and demand is developed. Kadın ve kadının toplumsal alandaki konumlanışı tarihsel süreç içinde her dönemde tartışma konusu olmuştur. Tartışmalara konu olan kadının, eğitim hayatından çalışma hayatına, aile içi ilişkilerinden toplumsal konumuna kadar her şeyi çeşitli gruplar tarafından tartışılmıştır. Dolayısıyla kadın ve kadının toplumsal alanda konumlanışları da farklı inançlar, ideolojiler ve kültürler ekseninde şekillenmiştir. Türkiye'de kadının toplumsal konumu zaman içinde çeşitli nedenlere bağlı olarak değişmiştir. Bu çalışmada, 1990'larda Türkiye'de gelişen feminist ve İslami kadın hareketi ekseninde kadın ve kadın-kamusal alan bütünleşmesi konusu tartışılmıştır. Türkiye'de 1980'lerde ivme kazanan kadın hareketleri farklı söylemlerle 1990'lara taşınmıştır. 1990'lı yıllarda feminist ve İslami kadın dergilerinde kadın konusu, Kadın Kimliği(1995) ve Pazartesi(1995) dergisi örneğinde ele alınmış ve her iki derginin 1995-1999 dönemini kapsayan sayıları arasından seçim yapılarak detaylı bir analiz yapılmıştır. Bu çalışmada kadın ve kadının kamusal alan bütünleşmesinin feminist ve İslamcı kadınlar açısından nasıl değerlendirildiği, nasıl bir söylem, politika ve talep geliştirildiği ortaya koyulmaya çalışılmıştır.
