One of the most important factors in the formation of sodium soils is the level of sodium in irrigation water. The accumulation of sodium in agricultural areas each time irrigating can change the sodium values of the plant components as well as the properties of the soil such as the changeable sodium percentage (ESP), electrical conductivity (ECe) and the amount of irrigation water (AWC). In this study, 5 irrigation water were applied to the redcabbage with the same salinity values but different sodiumadsorption values (SAR0, SAR5, SAR15, SAR30 and SAR40). As a parameter, the percentage of changeable sodium in the soil (ESP)for 2 layers, soil salinity (ECe)for 2 layers, irrigation water amounts (IW) and the amount of sodium in the plant leaves wereinvestigated. Each pot was randomly plated in 5 replicates according to the experimental design. Statistically significant differences were observed in each parameter. When the soil ESP values were examined, separate groups were formed for all applications statistically in the first and second layers. The highest ESP value was 9.39 in the second layer of SAR40 and the lowest value was 2.42 in the first layer of the SAR0. According to the applications, differences were found in the sodium levels accumulated in the leaves. The highest sodium value was found to be 60 ppm in SAR40 application, and the lowest sodium amount was 10 ppm in SAR0. As a result, the increase in SAR values in irrigation water has caused significant interactions in both soil and plant leaf components.en_US
