Publication: Sentetik Amino Asitlerle Desteklenmiş Fındık Küspesinin Etlik Piliç Karmalarında Kullanılma Olanakları
Abstract
This study was conducted in order to investigate the possibility of utulizationhazelnut kernel oil meal supplemented with lysine, methionine and threonine syntheticamino acids in broilers as replacement to soybean oil meal.In this study three different rations were prepared by taking in to considerationthe nutrient requirements of broilers for three periods. In the first ration soybean oilmeal (SBM) was used as vegetable protein supplement. In the other rations hazelnutkernel oil meal supplying 50% (SBM+HKOM) and 100% (HKOM) of protein contentprovided by soybean meal. The birds weighed individually. Four hundred and fifty Ross308 hybrid broiler chicks were used in randomized block design with 3 treatmentgroups (each replicates 30 birds ) having five sub-grups in each.At the end of experiment SBM+HKOM and HKOM groups were affectednegatively in terms of the live weight, live weight gain, feed consumptions, feedeffiency ratio, carcass weight and dressing percantage compare to SBM group (P<0.05).In terms of carcass weight the only HKOM group was affected negatively compare toSBM and SBM+HKOM groups (P<0.05).In conclusion, the results of the present study indicated that soybean meal couldnot replacad by hazelnut kernel oil meal supplemented with synthetic amino acidsbecause of decreasing the live weight, live weight gain, feed consumptions, feedefficiency ratio in the broilers diets.Key Words: Broiler, Soybean meal, Hazelnut kernel oil meal, Synthetic amino acid
