dc.description.abstractThis study presents a multi-input multiple-output (MIMO) quad patch microstrip patch antenna array design for 6G wireless communication systems to cover multiple frequency bands. An analysis of characteristic modes is conducted to design a slotted ground structure that improves the MIMO bandwidths over the proposed spectrums without negatively impacting the four-element array's radiation characteristics. The polyimide material is used to design the substrate layer of the MIMO antenna, and the copper is used to design the ground and patches of its structure. The quantitative analysis of return loss over the frequency spectrum, antenna gain, correlation coefficient, and diversity gain is performed.en_US
