‘Kutsal Mekan’: Fenomenolojik Bir Analiz

Abstract

İnsanlarla mekanlar arasındaki ilişki alansal (geometrik ve coğrafi) ayrımlardeğil, perspektifler arasındaki geçişlilik şeklinde tezahür etmektedir.Kutsal mekan diye anlaşılan yerin ayırt edici vasfı, kutsalın aynı anda hemçok yakın hem çok uzak oluşuna dair bilince yol açan bir temsilin varlığıve bu temsili oluşturan sonsuz denebilecek perspektifler arasındaki pasajdurumudur.Relationship between spaces and human beings is shaped in terms ofpassages between perspectives and not in terms of spatial (geometric andgeographic) differences or divisibility. Accordingly, the distinctive aspectof ‘sacred space’ is the existence of representation which paves a way to aconsciousness of sacred as ‘the nearest and most distant’ at the same time.Hence sacred space reveals itself as an experience of temporality of passagesbetween virtually limitless perspectives of this event of representation.
